I spent a summer in London during the 1970s, and remember downtown Richmond Street as being down-at-the-heels. Before talking about the food (great!), we need to praise independent restaurants like this as central to the project of rescuing, renovating, repurposing and rehabilitating old main streets from the foreign-owned malls. What would Richmond Street be without its independents? They're all different,... More

We were lucky to be in London Ontario again and had another first rate meal at Garlic's of London. Recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves top notch dining. Will go there any time we are in London. It's the Best in that city!!

We arrived about 4:30 for dinner and they seated us early anyway. We had the 3 for $30 menu, my wife the flank steak and I had the rainbow trout. Both were wonderful. The desserts were great also, flour free chocolate cake and cheese cake. Very near Victoria Park for nice walk before the meal.

I work very close and love this spot for a business lunch or date. Food is always great since the new owner took over. The pasta is excellent as is the fries. I've never had anything bad. Good value, good service.

Absolutely love that the food is made entirely from scratch with inspiration from local ingredients. Important nowadays and worth mentioning.... their menu combines seasonal produce with sustainable, organic, Ontario and Canadian products!

I wasn't sure what to expect, given that the menu didn't really have a focus. But the food was surprisingly good. The Artisan appetizer had some excellent parts -- my perch was panfried very nicely and the others at my table were happy with their gnocchi and salmon salad. Service was a bit slow, but attentive and efficient. Perhaps a... More

After dining here many times, I went out for dinner on a Saturday evening with a group of 8 for my bachelorette party. Our reserved table was waiting for us in the back of the dining room, where we could enjoy some drinks and conversation without feeling like we were interrupting others, still enjoying our party and a nice dinner.... Garlics lives up to it's reputation as being one of London's premier restaurants. Its staff are really friendly and helpful, they have a lot of seating, and their food is amazing! Take my word for it, their sweet potato fries and garlic aioli are the best I've ever had!

Garlic lovers rejoice and enjoy without shame, for you can have your garlic here and eat it too! A very unique experience for lovers of the bulb with great service and upscale dining. We came for lunch only (I would like to come back for dinner), and enjoyed the Londonlicious lunch special chicken and brie sandwich and the perch and... More

Very nice décor, clean and very friendly staff. Wide variety of items on the menu. Price was a little expensive but well worth the money. Would recommend to anyone
