A nice evening with family about 6 weeks back. Food was good, great ambiance and owner provided personalised service. A bit expensive though.

We had an enjoyable experience at this restaurant, we found the ambience and decor quite nice, and service was excellent. The waiter was very attentive, and made sure we were well looked after. We ordered the Parmesan garlic fries and the Aritisan Board for appetizers and we cannot say we were disappointed. The only thing was that there were small... More

We have been going to Garlic's for years, and have always loved the food and the service. This past year, we went several times for the Sunday brunch. There are both breakfast and lunch items on the menu, and everything that we have tried has been delicious. The Garlic's brunch platter is outstanding. As usual, the service and ambience were,... Garlics is just a few steps from the Grand Theatre, so it is a good choice if that is where you are heading. The food is excellent as is the service. There is a very good selection of entrees as well as salads and appetizers. It is rather pricey but is a good spot for a special celebration or a... More

I have eaten at Garlics on many occasions for brunch lunch and dinner. Always delicious foods mostly sourced from local farms and the chefs in the kitchen really use love in the food (corny but true). For the quality of the food they could charge way more but the average dinner is below $30. Lunches are half that. Eat there!... More

WE were there with a group of 10 for a family celebration, the food was geneerally enjoyed, beer was good, service was average, we would have had more if offered. The only issue was the servers was not too familiar with the menu and when asked for a substitution it was basically a NO, we only serve whattthe plate lists,... More

I went on a date with my mom here and we both enjoyed the airy restaurant and great, attentive service. The food was wonderful. Don't be mistaken by the name, it's not as though everything is doused in garlic, everything was superb!

Had dinner here tonight with a group of colleagues. Started with the prosciutto wrapped bocochini and the roasted garlic and mozzarella. The roasted garlic was nice but nothing special. The prosciutto wrapped bocochini was amazing. For a main course, I had the gnocchi. The gnocchi was good but not potato, rather made with flour. It was good but a little... More

I had not been to Garlics in a while and thought I would try it again. My friend and I decided to try the 'price fix' menu - excellent value at less than $30. There were 3 choices of appetizer, 3 choices of entrée and a dessert. The server brought us warm home made bread. I asked if they had... More

We had been intending to try out this restaurant for a while, and with its sterling reviews, we thought it would be a dinner to remember. However, the dishes were very hit-and-miss, and I was very surprised by its ratings. While there was nothing wrong with the service, the food was not to the level we expected. To start, we... More
