I have eaten here a few times in the last year and I always leave wondering why I don't come more often. The atmosphere and decor are perfect for a dinner with friends or a romantic evening out. The food is always incredibly fresh and delicious. On my recent visit I had the garden salad to start and the deer... More

You just can't go wrong at this restaurant. Two couples went recently to celebrate a birthday. David is the consummate host and his daughter who is a server is lovely. The last time we went a few weeks ago, there was a new young man serving us..he was extremely friendly and eager to please. We have had the prix fixe... More

What a great evening! We recently attended David's Bistro for their annual Lobster Dinner! As always, the food was superb with the potato, corn, & leek chowder topped with a slightly spicy smoked salmon topping the list - it was absolutely heavenly! The entire meal was served with attentiveness & great interaction- it truly was a memorable evening. I love... More

We went to David's to celebrate our engagement from earlier in the day. The staff was courteous and the food was delicious. They could tell something had happened because my fiancé couldn't stop smiling. We told them we just got engaged and you tell that they actually cared and we're so happy for us. It really made the day feel... More

Have been to David's twice now over the past few months - on the first occasion ordered from the prix-fixe menu and unfortunately had to leave before my dessert arrived in order to make it to another event. On that occasion the food was excellent - a wonderful salad to start, followed by a daily chicken concoction of some kind... More

I chose the pre-fix 3 course meal and really enjoyed the food. The crab cakes appetizer is the best I've had in a while and the dark chocolate and almond cake was a great finish. We've been coming to David's for over 5 years and have always found a broad range of menu options with ingredients I wouldn't know how... More

We booked here based on trip advisor which has never failed me yet and it didn't on the night we visited. We were celebrating our daughters graduation from Western and our group included her aunt from the Uk. We were a little late for our reservation after an unexpected emergency but we had given warning and were welcomed anyway. The... More

I enjoyed a delicious birthday dinner with my Mother at her friend's Bistro in London last weekend. We started off with the roasted tomato bisque soup which was to die for! My entree was the swordfish served with soba noodles and bok choy and hers was the salmon in a saffron infused beurre blanc ( i believe) :) She too... More

Like others have mentioned here, we went in expecting an excellent meal. The Halibut was overcooked, and while my wife liked her meal, she didnt find it anything special (that she couldnt cook at home). My rating is based on the well overcooked mushy halibut dinner.

Our neighbours have been going here for a while. They raved about it. I seldom trust others food opinions.so the four of us made reservations. Small place but elegant. The wine ,food and service was excellent. Great food, good wine choices and fine service. Had a great night, they certainly know how to take care of there guest. Won't doubt our... More
