This restaurant has the best congee in London, Ontario. They have so many dishes that you can choose, from congee to noodles. I have tried their congee, bbq pork, bbq duck, and their lobster noodles. All of them are excellent. The lobster portion is huge. And, the noodles are just perfect. In summary, you'll find reasonable prices, huge selection, and... More

Coming from Toronto, I've been looking around London for some half decent Chinese food, but all I could seem to find were those ubiquitous places serving beef and broccoli or egg rolls, which do not count as Chinese in my book. Then Congee Chan opened, and finally I've been able to get food that's like what I'm used to from... More

I've been here a few times now, and keep wanting to go back. The congee is very good, and the bbq duck is amazing! There's a huge menu that I look forward to trying. I highly recommend.

Congee Chan marks London's first major foray into the Congee market that is so popular in Toronto. While other dim sum based restaurants offer it in basic form, Congee Chan has close to 30 different choices along with a host of chow mein, soup noodle and other options. My partner and I chose a basic minced beef congee, a fish... More

Congee Chan is a recent addition to the Chinese restaurants in London. It is located in a plaza at the northeast corner of Oxford and Wonderland Road North. Congee Chan serves more than congee (rice porridge). They have set menus at very reasonable prices. The congees come with a selection of different meats and flavoring from plain, pork, chicken, duck,... More

I really like confers. But I tried a lot of resteraunt. This is the best congee place in London. Other food is ok. But congee is really good.

I am a traditional Cantonese from Hong Kong and has mellowed out after 40 years in Canada with the exception of Cantonese food. Wonton noodle soup is still one of my favourites which is hard to come by in London. Its been a while since passing of the retired Fu Kee Restaurant which used to offer a reasonably good bowl... My first posting ever because I want to counterpost jonathan C's posting. Nice, modern decor for a less than 1 month old restaurant. My family and I had Lai Wan Style Congee (B20), Stir Fried Beef w/ Chinese Broccoli (J19), Crispy Chicken w/ Secret Sauce (J34), Baby Pak Choi w/ Garlic Sauce (J41), Spice & Pepper Salt Pork Chop (J43),... I'm working my way through the menu to fully assess this place. We've been here on four separate occasions now including once with my mother who lives in Toronto and is very picky with respect to Chinese food. (Our family came to Canada from Hong Kong). This is a great new addition to London's Chinese restaurants. The food is very... More

Living in London, we always missed the genuine cantonese Chinese food in Toronto that I grew up with. Congee Chan is definitely comparable to congee/noodle/rice restaurants you'd find in TO. It's definitely the best chinese food we've had here. Authentic, huge menu, friendly service, we thought we were in Toronto.
