My wife has visited the Black Walnut Bakery Cafe for years and had nothing but positive things to say about it. Being born and raised in London, I was somewhat embarrassed at the fact I had not been by to try it for myself. Earlier this year, we stopped by for some chicken pot pie and lattes. Stopped in for a treat and tea. The carrot cake was delish, green loose leaf tea in the large pot was excellent.. Best tea by far that I have had in a while. Service was friendly and prompt. Seats were hard but we didn't stay long. Quaint and cozy and warm, perfect for the cold days we have had. I... More

You think you have had a good scone , Well white cheddar & cranberries with a fluffy pastry which just melts in your mouth is absolutely unbelievable , green tea in a pot with tea leaf holder so fresh and hot just perfect for a cold afternoon break. Super friendly staff what more would you want.

Great coffee, Veggie Sandwich, and treats! The bread is sooo fresh and delicious, and has a nice nutty taste to it! Be warned about the ginger cookies: one bite and it's pure addiction! I wish they had more seating because clearly everyone knows it is the best cafe in Wortley village!

Best Coffee ...locally roasted. The Food is fantastic! They have everything for a light breakfast and really good lunches. The Bread is made on site and all of the ingredients are fresh and top quality. Open from early morning until late Afternoon.

The coffee and service were good but the "fresh made" food was sub-par. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but it is ok

This place is great. All the food is fresh and delicious (a little over priced for some things though) Great coffees and lattes too! I love the location and the decor. The staff is ALWAYS fast and friendly. Some of the patrons are a little loud and a little pretentious, but that can't be helped. My only issue is seating...... More
