great meal by any standard, top notch for London

I have been at Springs a number of times over the years it has been open. I have to admit, I have never had a bad meal, but until recently, noting all that exciting either. Last week I was there again, and was amazed at the quality and creativity of the food. I don't know what has happened in... read more

It is one of the best, if not the best restaurant in London. The food is to die for. Went there 1st time during Londonlicious, and now I wonder why I waited so long. I will definitely go back and would recommend this for a special occasion dinner.

The Springs is supposed to be a high end restaurant so we tend to go only when there are specials ie: Londonlicious, or special events, birthdays. I checked out what the restaurants had to offer this year and The Springs offered food I was able to eat, HOWEVER, the three items they had on the menu were actually only two,... More

I went there for dinner and a $11 bottle of wine is $40 at the spring.. Gives you an idea of the mark up that exists there.. The whole experience was great, piano player (live music) but compared to other restaurants in the downtown core it's an option 3 or 4 for me.. If I had to spend the money... More

A friend of ours has been undergoing chemotherapy for the second time but was stir crazy so she wanted to go out for dinner. She wanted Springs onion soup. My other friend and I do not really like the Springs. The food always has unsophisticated flavours (salt, fat and bacon) that is hard to eat if you actually know how... More

The location is a bit out of the way but worth the effort to get there. The ambience is cozy in size with a tasteful décor. The reception and service were friendly and quick. Reservations are recommended for the busy nights-Thursday, Friday and Saturday. This was our first visit. We came during Londonliscious and ordered our meal accordingly. It was... More

My partner is a chef and suffice it to say when we dine-out it's "kind of a big deal"... We have visited The Springs for several occasions in past few months; on our own, with our family for birthday dinners and with my children and each visit has left our guests over-impressed and us pleased, yet again. The menu caters... More

This was my second visit to The Springs on Springbank Drive in London; both times was a positive experience. This renovated yellow brick church building lends a nice atmosphere, along with the live guitar music performed in the background by Glenn Bennett. It is situated not far from The Cove area of London, outside the downtown core where most of... More

Upon arrival, the parking lot was easy to access and seemed quite ample. Once we entered, we were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated promptly. Our server was knowledgeable and professional. The wine selection was excellent, however there were limited choices 'by the glass' and I felt that if I wanted a higher end glass of wine I was... More

Love this place. The menu is inspired by the Chef Andrew's love of French food and he does it extremely well. There is something for every diner. Highly recommended.
