My wife and I went to this restaurant when it was called Mein Street, we had a terrible experience, so we never went back. The food was ok but the service was awful. Now, a couple of years later it is opened under a different name. This time around the server was ok but in no way went out of... More

Now called Ben Thanh. First and only visit. The other customer at the front desk had already been waiting some time to be acknowledged and was visibly upset. Still, staff passed him without so much as a glance. Anyway I can't speak for him. This was lunchtime. Only a couple of dozen people sitting, but clearly not enough staff to... More

I happened to stumble on this restaurant and didn't regret the experience. It isn't often that one eats out and doesn't feel they overspent. If you find yourself at Wonderland and Fanshawe Park road in London, Ontario or around Masonville Mall, give this restaurant a try.

This restaurant is still owned by the same people. Thay have just re branded it under the Ben Thanh name. THERE IS NO LUNCH MENU. The staff is rude. So bad we walked out. There were only two tables on a saturday at noon. The waiter told us that it is usually lined up out the door. Haha.

Read a previous review and thought the person was being picky about 'annoying cutlery' but it really is. It is difficult to grip (even the teenager mentioned this) and hold, it is not balanced. Chicken satays and sauce - delicious. Coconut shrimp - delicious. Pad thai - really good. Chow mein- OK, sirloin beef was not tender and not enough... More

First time there, Loved the atmosphere, staff was appropriately friendly and attentive, food quantity, flavour and price were all a pleasant surprise. Delicious in fact. My husband is an uber fussy eater and he loved his Cashew Chicken. My Pad Sieu Beef was everything the waiter said it would be and the wonton soup he suggested we share was excellent!... More

I am, by no means, an expert in the area of Oriental cuisine but really enjoyed the cashew chicken stir fry. One negative thing about the overall experience was this establishment's selection of cutlery which I found quite heavy and awkward to manage. The individual pieces were round and were continually slipping from my grasp. Our server was knowledgeable and... More

Visited this restaurant 4 times - first time [shortly after they opened] was a disaster. Staff was confused, the water boy walked around in a daze carrying a jug of water, filling no ones glasses. Waited 10 minutes, asked for a server, waited 10 more minutes - nothing changed (the place was relatively empty), then left. Went back a year... More

Walking inside, passing a very abstract fusion sculpture on our way to the dining room, immediately can tell they have invested in the appearance of the restaurant. That's where the creativity dies.. The servers and hostesses are friendly, they explain the concept of the restaurant well. The food is intended to bridge the gap between East and West and the... More
