Dined here Sunday 9/7/14. Walked over from the Hilton, sat out on the patio. We (wife and ) each had the specials. Wife had Artic Char which was a fish similar to trout, marinated in tea and smoked. Delicious. I had Venison with cajun rice also delicious. They have a wide selection of beers and the service was excellent.

The scallops wrapped in salmon was incredible! This appetizer came with the three scallops for $13. It was cooked perfectly and had a light drizzle of a grapefruit and rice wine syrup. They served a nice pretzel bread with a mustard seed butter. I would d have performed more mustard in the butter I also had there corned beef and... More

I took my sister to the Church Key for an awesome birthday lunch. We had researched the menu online and it looked amazing. Here's what I loved about my experience: The menu featured food combinations that were unique: traditional English pub fare with upscale twists or upgraded ingredients. Our meals ended up tasting amazing! The ambiance in there is so... More

Good ambiance And outdoor seating. Music video on the tube too loud for father to sit inside. His problem really but you do get a lot of geezers. Also no World Cup of soccer on, period! The staff I spoke to were oblivious to the beautiful game. Business here in Vancouver reported large increases in biz when games promoted. Love... More

It was a nice Saturday afternoon and we enjoyed sitting on their quiet, secluded patio. They have a very nice menu and it was difficult to decide what to try. The chicken pot pie went very well with the Church Key draft. Both the service and food were very good.

I've been for lunch and dinner. Food was great, beer selection was perfect. Patio is small and quaint. Service, food, drinks, ambience, everything was good. You won't be disappointed.

Went there Saturday night for dinner. Lovely spot, good wine and beer selection, thoughtful menu and terrific staff. Try the duck confer salad. Rich, decadent and delicious. Have a burger! Have the fish and chips. Now small comment - it took a long time to get food from the kitchen. We noticed that a few customers were discussing it. That... More

I've been to the Church Key for some nice lunches in the past, but I recently visited the patio. Music was just the right level, so conversation wasn't difficult. Patio tables were spaced just right. It's a nice change from the crowded patios further north on Richmond Row.

We dined at the Church Key Pub this evening and had a very nice time. Our server was excellent. She knew lots about the food, offered recommendations and had a very good knowledge of craft beers which helped my husband choose his drink. He had the fish and chips and the overall portion was quite large such that he was... More
