We dined at the Church Key Pub this evening and had a very nice time. Our server was excellent. She knew lots about the food, offered recommendations and had a very good knowledge of craft beers which helped my husband choose his drink. He had the fish and chips and the overall portion was quite large such that he was... More

One of our favourites in the city. It boasts a great atmosphere, consistently good service and a very good menu with some unique items. Suited for an intimate meal or a sociable on the patio on a warm afternoon. Highly recommended.

I have visited the Church Key many times as I used to live in London. I bring all my family from out of town here. The food is local, fresh and always homemade. The ale and onion soup is lovely. We always try the local 'game' of the week which has always been superb. A little more expensive for a... More

Went to the church key for an early dinner recently, the interior takes advantage of the limited room well but I could see it being cramped in some areas when busy. The outdoor patio is nice when the weather permits and a decent variety of drinks. The menu is very classic in many senses but also has some interesting dishes... More

The Church Key is one of my favourite place to dine in London. Menu options are unique and delicious. The atmosphere is second to none. Definitely a cozy place to go during the cold winter months. I highly recommend!

Enjoyed a delightful meal with kudos for service, atmosphere and food. The special of the day was a salad with lettuce, stilton cheese, red onions, boiled egg (halved) and several other ingredients. Crisp, tasty, plentiful and a wonderful piquant vinaigrette that totally complimented the food. I was so engrossed in my food I can't even recall what my friend ordered!!!... More

I really enjoyed my visit to the Church Key. My boyfriend took me here for my birthday dinner. It was so chilly outside, but even though we were right up against the window, it was so warm and cozy. The atmosphere was fantastic. It is a small and cozy place but I felt so welcomed. I really enjoyed my food... More

I do live in London so have been a frequent patron of the Church Key but I am disinclined to return. We were seated on the patio next to a wall. My friend spotted a dead mouse. We alerted our server who removed it. No offer of moving us. No apology. No offer of some compensation even though one member... More

Went for a late dinner and thought it was great. The mains were all quite "heavy" so we decided to get salads and split some appetizers. You must try the Chicken Fried Bacon and the Salmon Wrapped Scallops. Delicious! Service was a little slow but we weren't in a rush so it was no problem. A very cute place with... More

Went to the Church Key Pub with a number of colleagues. We came for a late dinner and were famished. They could only seat us outside because of the lack of availability of tables but were so good and accommodating about moving us inside when a table was finally available. Food was decent but our waitress was tops! Friendly, informed... More
