I don't a usually eat steak, but I know a good one when I eat it and this was not what I expected for the price. The first sirloin was so tough I could hardly cut it with my knife! The garlic mashed potatoes were dry and both were cold. Must have been a reject plate. Quickly they brought me... More

Love dining at The Keg..... always have had a great meal! Price for the meal is worth every cent! I like the layout of the restaurant itself.

the keg is a chain restaurant that is better than average. it has an AMAZING escargot au gratin and their hot sourdough bread and whipped butter is to die for. when you go, opt for the baseball sirloin (12 oz) with the loaded baked potato, and skip the lobster...seafood is ok, but what makes it special is the attentive service,... Average food, but above average prices. I haven't been to The Keg in years, perhaps that is why :( My husband loved his steak, I had the ribs but was not at all impressed. I've had better ribs at Swiss Chalet which is priced quite a bit cheaper! Atmosphere was ok, although very dark and since we were in the... More

I had been to the Keg once or twice and found the restaurant area very dark and somewhat oppressive. I discovered, however, that the bar area is quite the opposite with large windows and a cheerful décor. Try sitting there for a completely different Keg experience and try the burger instead of the steak. You'll want to go more often.

My husband and I went to the Keg recently to celebrate our anniversary and our experience was great. Our server was very friendly and professional. The food was wonderful, cooked to perfection . The young lady serving us asked if we were celebrating anything and we said yes and she brought us a huge and delicious complimentary dessert to share.... More

I am not sure how to review The Keg. I am sure we all have enjoyed dinner at The Keg on several past occasions. The food at the Kingston Keg is on par with your expectations for The Keg. An excellent location in Springer Market Square combined with a cosy ambiance help to make this restaurant a memorable experience.
