Another chain but Better!

The Keg is not my favourite place to go but we were given a Gift Certificate and decided to use it one Friday night. Although we were there a little ahead of our reservation it took the hostess a long time to seat us and about the same time lag for a waitress to come to our table. After that... read more

We've eaten here several times before and always come here as our #1 place to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. Consistently good food and service, never have been disappointed.

The Keg in Kingston Ontario: Just don't get it. Maybe 20 years ago. -Hadn't been to one in about that much time. That one was a gift card (London, Ontario) and so was this one. Eat in the bar area so you have some light and can actually read the menu. Mainly still a steak house and crazy expensive. My... More

46th anniversary dinner for two. Expensive drinks. My wife enjoyed her Stinger cocktail; I guess I complicated things by asking for a large Caesar made with gin rather than vodka, to find later that I was billed over $20.00, for both a Caesar and a Beefeater. Our friendly waitress apologized & corrected the admitted error right away. Wife ordered the... More

It is typical chain food, nothing exciting. Very noisy due to limestone walls. Drinks are over priced, menu is boring, seafood is overcooked. Unless someone else is buying, don't bother.

not my favourite as I really hate franchised eateries - the steak while good is full of preservatives and fillers and fake flavours - way too many great restaurants in Kingston to eat at that are far better

We went to The Keg for my birthday dinner. Service was prompt and friendly. After a brief description of the menu features, drinks were delivered and our order was placed. My wife had the stuffed filet from the winter grill, and other meals were ordered from the regular menu As usual the meal was wonderful. Perfectly cooked steak, great service,... More

I try to make a point at eating at little local restaurants as much as I can, but The Keg has never dissapointed me this far. It truly is a great chain restaurant. The servers are always great and the food is always made perfectly. The only thing I will say negatively is that we always sit in the lounge... More

Typical great service everyone expects from the Keg. Food was amazing and the server included a sparkler on my creme brûlée for my Birthday. I love how this they're right in front of the town hall as well.
