When we arrived , the hostess asked us if we had a reservation and we said no, she told us to wait a bit and then took us to a table as we looked around , there were a number of empty tables so I dont see why we had to wait. It was around 9pm when we arrived and... More

The young waitress was unengaged, slow, and sometimes outright rude (think, Queen's student that reeked with an indifferent attitude); for example when informed our steak was a bit tough; she simply shrugged her shoulders and ignored the comment. The steak was undercooked for the order and somewhat tough and the lobster tails my wife had were also so-so. Hardly worth... More

I was on business in Kingston and brought my wife along. We went to the Keg downtown. We were greeted by a friendly young hostess (didn't get her name) who not only brought us to our table, but managed to have a meaningful conversation along the way. Conner introduced himself as our waiter. He was spot on all evening making... More

We had an anniversary dinner with our parents (61yrs) there as we do every year on their anniversary and wasn't disappointed. The wait staff are very attentive, the manager came around twice to make sure all was good and the good was not a disappointment.

Great meal - nothing beats the prime rib. Great service. Fun time! Even gave our graduate free ice cream cake. Classy.

We have been going to the Keg for four years now to celebrate our anniversary. Loved it each time. On this occasion we didn't make a reservation not realizing how busy it might be on a Sunday evening. We were told it would be 15 to 30 minutes for a table in the dining room or we could eat in... My wife and I had dinner here at the weekend, we decided to sit at the Bar, which was a good choice, good friendly efficient service, with a great atmosphere. We didn't want a large meal, so we decided to share the baked Brie starter, to die for, and we both had the beef burgers , Wow. Good Wine and... More

I find the Keg ok but I am not a steak person so I find it difficult to order from the menu. There are other choices on the menu of course but not many. I get the Chicken Oscar when I frequent the Keg. My husband does like the steak though so do not get me wrong. I do find... More

I've been here several time but, It's sad to say but I'm always disappointed when visiting the Keg. I guess I'm expecting too much a a steak restaurant. Doesn't matter what cut you get it always tough and not that tasty, and very expensive for that type of food. Other restaurant have much better steaks in Kingston. I general I... More
