Great local find

Had an early diner here. Great service and excellent food. I had the fish & chips with curly fries while my friend had pulled pork. Both were very very done & presented. Loved the homemade tartar sauce. The peanut butter pie was fantastic! Only negative was that we do not know who thought the live... read more

July 10 2015... I had read something on the internet about this restaurant located in a small marina just about 15 minutes north of Kingston at 1753 Highway 2. It seemed to be an interesting place to have diner that night, so I decided to stop in and have a look see before heading out to our motel. It place... More

As locals, we have experienced many changes in this spot over the years. Until this year not all have been welcome but the new operators seem o be on the right track. Local beer selection is great, a relaxed menu with smokehouse items is good, portion size good as well. Service is great, outside decking could use some repair but that... More

My wife and I stopped at the Driftwood restaurant this June and enjoyed a wonderful time on the patio enjoying a delicious pulled pork meal with a broccoli salad and a local beer on tap. What an enjoyable evening! The staff was very friendly and the pricing was affordable!!

I've heard good and bad reviews about this restaurant and being Kingston East-enders I wanted to voice my own opinion and I'm glad I did! Best Steak in Kingston!, Great Service, clam chowder was piping hot and full of clams. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting or living in Kingston. Have heard good and bad reviews about this restaurant so thought I'd better check out this place myself! There have been many tries in making this place a success and I think it has finally made it! Great service, best steak ever and bake beans to die for. And the clam chowder was full of clams and piping hot. I... More

My ribs tasted like they were boiled and I'm not sure they even have a smoker. My fries were greasy and cold. I tried my friends pizza was unimpressed. I wished we had gone to woodenheads instead. The service was slow. Half hour just to get a drink and there were hardly any customers at the time. Last year I... More

This eatery, now under the owners command, is one of the best in this area. The southern theme of their food is great . Wood fired pizzas, great ribs done in their smoker, real French fries and a "taste of Tennessee " sides, great service and calming location, clean, The owners really care about catering to your senses. Prices reasonable... More

My partner and I enjoyed a lovely meal at the driftwood this past week. I had one of their pizzas which was made in their new wood oven (very delicious!!) while my partner had the fish and chips, one of the best he has ever had. I would return to the driftwood again in a heartbeat- great food, service and... More
