We were taken here on our recent trip to Canada by relatives after hearing about the weekend crab buffet and we weren't disappointed. A good selection of various dishes and the crab and prawns on offer were especially enjoyed by our 12 year old son!

If you are hungry and looking for a place to fill up your stomach, then it is the place. But if you are looking for quality food, i wouldn't recommend here. There are more than just spring rolls and chicken balls in Asian food.

My husband and I decided on our Saturday night outing we had the craving for crab legs and the best value for sure is the Mandarin. Where else can you eat unlimited crab for that price? It's a once a year thing with us, we like some of the other dishes but it's really the crab and fresh shrimp that... More

This past Saturday evening after seeing a movie we decided to go to the Mandarin for dinner. When we arrived there was a bit of a wait...10 min. We were greeted by very friendly staff and seated by our hostess. Shortly our waitress arrived to take drink orders and we began to help our selves to the very large buffet... More

Friends of ours arrived from out of town for a one week visit. Knowing that it is almost impossible to get to see everyone you need to in such a short visit, a get together was arranged to meet with several people at the MANDARIN on Upper James Street in Hamilton, Ontario. Since this is a buffet venue, it is... More

We had a delicious lunch at the Mandarin. There was a wide selection of hot and cold food; fresh fruit and desserts. Our server was very pleasant. The price is very reasonable for the buffet.
