I have stopped by for lunch a couple times in the past few months. I am addicted to the Vienna Schnitzel. It is a breaded schnitzel, I wish all their schnitzel's were breaded. The house salad is great and you can't go wrong with either side dish.

There was no hostess around when we arrived around 7pm, and a staff member eventually acknowledged us and told us to wait. A good 5 minutes later she arrived and we were seated. We both ordered the schnitzel in paprika sauce with rice and the house salad to start. I loved the house salad & dressing, it was fresh, crisp... More

The food here is absolutely fantastic every time we go. Highly recommend the goulash soup, and the schnitzels of course! However - especially if you're going on a Fri, Sat, or Sun. night - expect a long wait time (an hour or so). Unfortunately they don't take reservations. But the wait is worth it! Just kick back with a beer... More

One of the few Austro/Hungarian/Germanic restaurants left in Hamilton. There is another German restaurant but that is for the next review. A schnitzel is a schnitzel by any other name, Some dishes are listed as authentic, I beg to differ. Goulash is awful, I would not recommend it. Service is excellent, however, depending on when you go and the number... More

Heard about this through "You gotta eat here". It's very cute, food was amazing and our waitress was great. If you're around the area or pass through you gotta try this place!

Never had a bad meal here. This is one of the more popular Restautants in Hamilton and the food is always predictable.Lots to chose from, large portions good food and friendly service. They do not take reservations so you may have to wait in the bar.Not a bad thing. Most people will enjoy this place.

Service was prompt but we found the food to be lukewarm and the schnitzel and fried potatoes were very greasy tasting. However, the portion sizes are beyond generous, and we all took at least half of our dinner home for next day leftovers. Perhaps it was just a bad night because I have patronized this Hamilton landmark for over 35... More

Our annual "birthday" visit, in addition to other visits during the year. Always a favourite "go to" restaurant. Good variety of dishes, all well done and reasonably priced. Arrive early at dinner time as it gets full pretty quick. We've gone mid afternoon on occasion and have never been disappointed.
