Another note to self today. In impromptu luncheon with niece recently transplanted from NY. She has already been three times to Diwa. We decided to meet for lunch on Saturday. The restaurant is in a strip mall and nothing to write home about from the outside. Inside is calm and they have tried very well to utilize the space. Our server... More

Diwa is my favourite Indian restaurant in the Guelph area and I love having lunch there as there are many items to choose from on the buffet. I no longer live in Guelph area but look forward to having lunch at Diwa anytime I'm back. The staff have always been prompt and courteous as well.

This place has a great lunch buffet on weekdays that is a frequent stop for those who work close by. The food is very very good, but the seating is limited. I recommend coming early or later for lunch as you may have to wait if you come at noon.

I've eaten at this restaurant a number of times, and keep coming back. I've only gone for lunch when they have a buffet and its always great. The food is hot and freshly made, and they quickly replenish the dishes when they are low. There is a great variety of dishes to try and they are all soooo delicious. Nothing... More

I went in for the lunch buffet a few months ago now, and once seated I went to grab a plate of food. I decided to start with some appetizers, such as a samosa, pakora and spring roll. I found a long black hair in my spring roll. I told the waitress and she dismissed it. I called her over... More

Had a take out for 5, next time will eat in as it's a really clean cozy space. Again, don't let the strip mall exterior fool you. I had driven past this restaurant 25 times and never gave it a second thought, but don't be fooled, this is the best Indian restaurant within 100 kms. Great vegetable pakoras, big chunks... More

One of the nicest thing about really good Indian dining - do NOT let the strip mall location throw you!, is the fragrant aroma that greets you at the door. This is absolutely the case at Diwa. Better still, the staff, while young, is knowledgeable and helpful. An allergy to strawberries for my dinner guest did not stop them from... More

This is by far the best Indian food in Guelph and surrounding area! I go back almost once a week! Lunch buffet is great value, however we order take out/delivery and go for dinner too because the food is to die for!

I ate here with my family of four after seeing recommendations on the web. It was delicious! Pulling in, I was a little worried (it's in a strip mall), but it was delicious, and service was great. The mango lassis, sag paneer, soups, chicken..everything was delicious. I highly recommend it!

We have been hunting for a new restaurant that serves Indian cuisine ever since Bollywood changed hands and Diana's prices have increased. Diwa did NOT disappoint! We ordered take out last night...pakora, samosa, chicken korma, chicken vindaloo, aloo gohhi, side of mango chutney and pompodum. The servings were generous....so much so that we had again for lunch and we both... More
