I have had good and excellent meals to so so meals here. Nice atmosphere. Takes a long time to get your meals, so don't be in a hurry.

We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious prime rib served to us at The Fat Duck on a Sunday evening in August. Since that evening we have been several more Sundays and each time we have more than enjoyed our meal. I am sure they have other wonderful meals but we just can't seem to bring ourselves to try something... More

I love this place. My favourite wings, of anywhere! There is a choice of fat/thin chips, either one of which is good. I can't rave enough about the au jus, which is made in house. Good host, always feel welcome. I also enjoyed the live entertainment on Thursday nights, but not sure if he's still there. We've been going for... More

Over the past few years the girlfriend and I have frequented this place quite often generally ordering the same three things every time: Ticos Nachos, House Crisps and a Rowe Burger. We absolutely loved these three items, but recently as of the new renovation we've noticed a severe drop in quality of the food. As such our most recent visit... More

We first tried the Fat Duck several years ago and loved it. We tried it again a few years ago and were sorely disappointed with the food. On our most recent trip we thought we'd give them another try just in case our last experience was an aberration. It wasn't. The food: mediocre at best. They do have a small... More

Although this place seems to struggle with a bit on an identity crisis (am I a pub or am I an upscale restaurant) it really is an excellent dining experience either way. I had a Curried Lamb Shank & my wife had a Perch special. Both were cooked just perfect and were quite tasty. The appetizer of pulled pork Nachos... More

I usually get the fish feature, and tonight it was extra amazing. The sides were green beans, grilled red peppers, carrots and fingerling potatoes. And the fish was beautifully prepared with pecans. Yummmmmmy!!!!

This used to be a gastro pub but now it is an ordinary pub with just okay food. Service is pleasant though. I asked the waitress if the meat in the steak pie was tender as I hate tough meat. She was honest and said it wasn't very tender. Got to love that.

1st visit, was pleased with the food. The Indian Samosas appetizer was excellent and unexpected. Fish & Chips were very good, fish was well prepared. I'm not a big beer drinker but liked the selection, an organic beer. Eclectic menu but interesting. Service was good, staff friendly. I'll go again and try something different
