Thank you for accommodating our last minute reservation. We had a great view of the Niagara River. The staff were friendly and ready to serve. The kitchen made two to order dishes, chicken fingers from scratch for our 8 year old cousin and vegan stir fry for our vegan son. The meal was fresh, hot and tasty. The decor made... More

I love their Chinese food here! The spicy pork and spicy beef have such great flavors. And the wonton soup is like none other, literally I have searched every Chinese restaurant for wonton soup like this and you can't find it anywhere. The portions are big and reasonably priced. Plus Steve, the waiter, knows us by name and has our... More

My husband & I stumbled in by accident. We were asking around for a good Chinese restaurant in Fort Erie. Everyone said to try Happy Jacks which is next door. For some reason we were more drawn to May Wah. It is located with a nice view of the Peace bridge and the Niagara river. Décor is tasteful yet average... More

I have been going to May Wah for Chinese food since it opened in 1979. I have watched both the staff and myself age over these 35 years but the quality and scrumptious taste of the food has maintained over the decades. The combination plates are fantastic for the lone diner and the set meals for couples and groups are... More

May Wah is one of two Chinese restaurants on this street that has a fabulous view of the river from the dining room. The food was OK but really rather commonplace. The plates that we ordered were priced properly. The waiter, who has worked there quite some time, is engaging and the service is good and appropriate for a restaurant... More

This place is located about 5 mins drive from the Peace Bridge and about 15 mins drive from downtown Buffalo. There are several more Chinese restaurants on the same strip. A regular Chinese restaurant, they have good food, good service (Steve is a funny guy) and good atmosphere. Recommendation: Go and eat.

We ate here by mistake- they are located 2 doors down from Ming Teh along this strip of Chinese restaurant, but I got the names confused after 10 hour drive. I wished we'd gone there instead based on the good reviews. The service at May Wah was so so- our waiter took our order but never came back to refill... More

Passing through this restaurant while on a bicycle trip to Fort Erie at noon time on a Sunday. We decided to try it out, ordering some fried rice and noodle. Both were a disappointment. The portions were really small and tasteless. It's rather pricey on the quality and quantity basis. Since we weren't picky eaters, we were puzzled by the... More

The restaurant is right beside the Niagara River, surrounded by a few other Chinese food restaurants. We chose this one because reviewers said it was reasonably priced. We were seated at a window table that offered a virtually unobstructed view of the river. Our server was excellent and helped make our visit really enjoyable. There was no buffet. We really... More

We've been coming to May Wah for over 20 years and I can honestly say that the food and service are as good as ever. The family is still here and their food is some of the best we've ever had; no one can make sweet and sour chicken like they can! The food comes out steaming hot and the... More
