You always wonder when you take friends to restaurant that you love, in case they do not like it. After seeing an excellent production of Les Mis at Dunfield we had supper at Wired Pugs. The owner/chef (Vidusee) spent time with us and explain his background and how he prepares the meals. Two of us had excellent sea bass, my... More

Recently our family of four dined at the Wired Up Pugs. Two of us ordered the burgers, one the red curry and the other a pasta dish. All entres were excellent including the accompanying salad and soups. Our daughter has a nut allergy which wasn't an issue as all dishes are made fresh.....not like many of the chain restaurants. Wonderful menu items that were interesting and unusual. All of our dishes were very very balanced blends of complementing flavours. I had a great Thai-like curry, while my wife enjoyed a fabulous Sea Bass. The fruit Brie flatbread appetiser was really nice. The Bistro atmosphere was very artistic and interesting, but not the most comfortable.

We were from out of town, looking for a nice original dining experience with fresh gourmet food. My wife is a vegetarian and I am not. We both had no problem finding dishes we could both enjoy and even stressed a bit over which dishes to get as we wanted to try multiple of the daily specials. Alas our bellies... More

Our neighbours took us to The Wired Pugs Cafe Bistro and we are glad they did! It really was delicious...all sorts of spices combined for a mouthwatering meal. One of our top ten favorite dinners we had out this year!! Everything was fresh tasting! A nice house wine added to the meal. Our host was very friendly and helpful and... More

Just visited for lunch. My husband and I were going to order similar items so he suggested a different panini which worked out cheaper for us. It was presented very nicely. Nice to know it's all made fresh to order. I did ask for the panini to be made with no goat cheese, but it tasted like it was still... More

Interesting, tasty and fresh Asian cuisine in an old stone house near the Southworks complex. Friendly and helpful staff. Worth going out of your way for a visit.

Everytime I come back to this place I leave happier and more fulfilled then the last. Please disregard the previous review. I have a sneaky suspicion he has suspect motives to be the only one to negatively review this absolute gem of a restaurant while casually name dropping another Cafe....It's not very often you can actually read pretentious, but he... Sometimes restaurants serve bad food, whether by design or accident. This was a rare instance (for me), of dishonest food, and I am frankly shocked to see all of the positive reviews posted here. I actually thought that this was a coffee shop, but it is a "bistro," and past the entryway is a smallish, L-shaped area for dining. Each... More
