We've come the the Old Marina Restaurant for years and I continue to wonder why. The view and restaurant interior are great. However the menu is bland and boring. Their once famous burger is nothing more then meatloaf meat and a bun. Their half chicken dinner tasted like it had been reheated from a batch made days ago. Overall their... More

Lovely atmosphere by the lake especially on a warm summers evening. The service was excellant and the staff very pleasant. The place was really oldy world with a classic Tom Sawyer feel. The food was traditional American Moms home cooking. I had the meat loaf which was excellant with home made Lemon Meringue Pie which was even better. There was... More

Went for dinner and had a great time. The serving staff were friendly and all helped each other to make the customers happy. Our food arrived relatively quickly and it was nice looking out at the lake while eating. My wife ordered the fish and chips, and she was amazed with the plate. The cod was a full fillet from... Great service. Restaurant was 80% full. Lots of chatter and laughs indicating everyone was enjoying their outing. Sitting on the deck overlooking the lake was a nice change of pace. Decor inside was warm, rustic and friendly. The turkey melt was a downer. Real turkey meat ....nope. Just a couple of slices of processed press-board - Fries were absolutely Fantastic.... More

Service was average , atmosphere was Good, food is average. Wings were overdone, Nachos were satisfactory. Lots of people here with lots of very loud children. Nice to sit on the deck overlooking the Lake

I had heard this place was good. So I was excited to try it. Walked in and there was some bad smell which more than a couple of us noticed by the door and quasi -gift shop... Bathroom? Don't know.. but not pleasant. It was Saturday afternoon, after the big rush, the main dining room was pretty empty.. the patio... More

You cannot beat the venue or the atmosphere it provides, a great view of Puslinch Lake, and the train moving around the ceiling is a great distraction for kids Food is good, even very good depending on the selection, I love that they fry the cheese! for the burgers But you are gonna pay a premium, priced as a 4... OK, so the food is not gourmet or nouveau cuisine but who the heck wants that from a happy waterfront eatery where kids are welcome and the servers have a smile as bright as the sun. But if you are looking for a pleasant spot for a good sandwich at lunchtime or even a dinner, then likely you will be... More
