We had the opportunity to partake in the summer BBQ series. They sell out fast ~ so keep your eye on the website in the spring, and book a table with some friends! I find Langdon Hall to have an airy, yet elegant setting, resembling the architecture found in Georgia. It has a long winding driveway and large columned entrance... More

What an enjoyable and memorable event! We had never been to one of these events before and came to see our favourite chefs, Anna and Michael Olson. The barbecue was held on the expansive lawn in front of the main house in a large tent. Since it was a barbecue the ladies wisely had left their high heels at home.... More

I guess that this event has gotten bigger and they moved it from the patio to a tent in the front field? Tent was quite a hike from the road, especially for ladies in heels. We were not expecting a Porta Potty as high end a model as it was:-). Food was good, service horrible. 30 minutes to get wine... More

The outdoor terrace is lovely, especially in this good weather, and the food is really delicious but be ready for the tiniest of portions. I don't need the gargantuan portions we have grown to expect at the 'family' restaurants but I do think that these portions are especially tiny. They are wonderfully plated, artistic strokes of sauces, imaginative reworkings...try the... More

We had the tasting menu and we were not disappointed. The chef was gracious to make all sorts of changes to the menu due to dietary restrictions. However the presentations were fantastic and the food was well cooked. some of their best dishes were desserts. The breakfast was a nice buffet but we were too full to have many servings.

We were looking forward to a fine meal in a quiet setting, at the standards of Relais & Chateaux. OK, they have the "form" but just forgot about the "content." As with another reviewer, we felt the service was not only inattentive, sloppy, and lacking in co-ordination, but one staff came with a filthy apron. Food was average or below,... More

A great "hotel" restaurant. Dishes are unique and use extremely fresh ingredients. Wine list is thorough with an excellent selections, strong in french, no great bargains but markups are standard. Halibut amuse was outstanding, as were the guinea hen and lamb loin entrees at our table. Waiter this evening was thorough but robotic. Still one of the finer resort dining... More

Received a gift certifcate and used it to get a pedicure with my sister at Langdon Hall's spa. Great service and a wonderful time. We also had tea at restaurant which was expensive but such a treat. Lovely food and presentation. Great service. If I could afford it I would go regularly. It is a pricey treat.

Langdon hall is very fine dining. Excellent staff that know the food, great sommeliers, very interesting food, and great wines. The atmosphere is lovely. Prices are a bit too high, but they really do put great ingredients into the food. Small portions.

The food was OK, not great. The service was inattentive and almost rude. Waiter did not care at all, and showed very little care for bumping my chair very hard twice. Our table was not of interest to him at all, and the restaurant was not even busy. Go to a more polished establishment where they care about how their... More
