I have had the chance to both stay and eat here. They stay was great. Our room was fantasic with a great view overlooking to croquet field and gardens. However for $400/night not somewhere that I would stay if it was not a special occasion. I have dined in both the dining room and bar. Both offer two different expereinces,... More

We went for the Mothers Day Fixed menu, 4 diners total. Service was impeccable, view was amazing. The grounds are incredible. The food was wonderful, although we all left still hungry. Portions are not large, but makes up for it with taste. It was over $500 for 4 of us. It was a night to remember though, and a nice... More

Lovely setting, delightful dining room, immaculate table setting and an unobtrusive piano playing in the background the night we dined. Attentive and efficient, if sometimes slightly obsequious, service. Beautifully presented food prepared with top class ingredients. Decent bread (sourdough) and good house made butter. Generally very competent cooking but stronger with meat than with seafood. My wife was very happy... More

Went there for a special celebration during a recent Sunday brunch. First off, the Inn and grounds are beautiful, very quaint yet elegant. However, the 'bricks and mortar' and surrounding landscape can't compensate for what is mediocre food and service that borders on being incompetent, or at the least, unorganized. For what is a very expensive Sunday afternoon one would... More

What a great experience!! We were greeted at the door and made to feel so special. I had made reservations for a 75th birthday dinner and my guests are still talking about the food , service and surroundings. Extremely well trained staff, friendly, helpful and very gracious. There knowledge of the menu was extensive and helpful when requiring a substitution... More

Locally grown ingredients, creative, and overall one of the best meals I've ever experienced. The wine list is also extensive - you'll have a hard time not finding something you'll enjoy.

A wonderful restaurant experience. Chef Bangerter is a friendly, gifted and creative chef. You will be amazed at the sights, smells, tastes and service. Creative dishes served in creative ways by some extremely talented people. Well worth the trip. Took my family who just moved to the area to dinner not once, but twice (we stayed in the hotel). The... More

If you are looking for the best place to stay or eat in this area look no further . It is of course the only Relais et Chateaux or LHW 100 miles around . Beautiful settings and wonderful walks in the snow guaranteed. The place has its flaws though . I usually go there for a family Sunday brunch, which... More

I went with a friend who likes to try top restaurants every once in awhile. Langdon Hall is in the country and there are beautiful grounds to walk around. Also a spa and a hotel with over 50 rooms, and it will cost over $500 a night. We had lunch and you can sit in the beautiful rooms inside or... More

We had the opportunity to partake in the summer BBQ series. They sell out fast ~ so keep your eye on the website in the spring, and book a table with some friends! I find Langdon Hall to have an airy, yet elegant setting, resembling the architecture found in Georgia. It has a long winding driveway and large columned entrance... More
