Ouch... My wallet hurts.

Food is phenomenal. We're talking Food Network caliber. Portion sizes are hit and miss. Drink menu is excellent. And the grounds are immaculate. But, all at a very, very steep cost. Be prepared to leave with a happy tummy but an empty wallet.

A very delicious breakfast set in a spectacular country house! I met a friend here for breakfast and we ordered from the Country Breakfast table and a meal prepared by the chefs in the kitchen. I ordered the lobster omelette and it was divine. Posted a few photos and thoughts on my blog http://www.celebratingthislife.ca/2015/06/breakfast-at-langdon-hall.html

We signed up for four of the Barbecue Series events in 2015 (we have a conflicting engagement on the 5th night), and we are using these events to have a wonderful dinner with very close friends. The first event of the season was held on June 30th, with Canada Day fireworks later in the evening -- and the Guest Chef... More

While the food was delicious, the portions were small, the choices somewhat limited and the whole meal over priced.

The staff is very accommodating. The high tea is excellent. (Although, I found the savoury scones, this time, a bit salty.) Their customer service is excellent! One suggestion I would make about the afternoon tea is maybe having some fruit to accompany the food. Even though, the food doesn't look like much, it was very filling! Also neat to walk... More

Went a while back in the winter and stayed 2 night. The beds were so puffy you melted under the duvet! Fire place extra cozy and the tub was perfect, nice and deep!Excellent peaceful bliss and the breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommended for that weekend away!

I had Sunday Brunch with my daughter and I was really, really shocked at the poor quality of food! My daughter's appetizer was canned salmon mixed with a few greens and mine was an over-toasted piece of bread soaked in oil with a few pieces of mushrooms. We both had the steak (med rare) and it was so chewy that... More

First time at this restaurant. 5 of us in our party. Arrived at 1:00 and it ended at 4:30. Very slow service but I didnt mind as it was a special occasion and i could relax but for people who want to have their meals faster it must of been horrible for them. I enjoyed all of my courses i... More

Langdon Hall has one of the best chefs in the country. The owners of Langdon Hall understand the critical importance that exceptional food has to an establishment and their dining room not only never disappoints, it is unfailingly excellent. Last Friday evening my wife and I had the tasting menu with wine pairings. Every course was singularly impressive. After each... More
