We have been here a few times. The food is OK. It's not great, but I think that is more to do with the fact that they do not use the rich traditional ingredients that go into an Indian dish. For me, the whole point of eating Indian food, is for the deep aromatic flavours - I just think that... More

Honestly, I think this place has been propped up by professional reviewers. I had high hopes. This was ridiculously overpriced ($92 for lunch for 2) mediocre Indian fare in a strip mall setting. Really Cambridge, this is the best you've got? Yikes. My advice is head to Guelph, they have a half-dozen better joints than this.

We have been here twice now and were treated with respect and given great food. The cook was available to talk with and was passionate about making us a great meal.

We ordered the combo meals and were pleasantly surprised by the taste. The food was like "home" (I am East-Indian) and lacked the cream and oil based preparations that most indian restaurants rely on. The nans were delicious. However, I found the prices to be on the higher side. I dont mind paying more money for quality food; however, how... More

Was in town to tour the Waterloo School of Architecture. Came here for dinner. Cambridge (in my opinion) is unfortunately a bit of a industrial zone. This restaurant will require a car to get to and its in a strip mall. But the moment you walk in the door you forget about the location. Its fresh, clean and bright on... More

We ordered 5 dishes for take out. The girl answering the phone was very pleasant and helpful. When my husband picked up the food they were equally good. The dishes were very flavourful, an it was apparent that the spices used were of the best quality. You are not left with the heavy feeling you usually get after eating regular... More

Tucked away in a strip mall, the decor is basic. The selection of wine is limited to Niagara, so if you like a full bodied red you will be disappointed. Staff are essentially family, so they go out of their way to make you welcome and meet your needs. The food is clearly the star. It is fresh and tasty.... More

Let me start off by saying I am not disappointed with the restaurant as the title suggests. We visit our family in Waterloo every year (or every other year). Last year, we visited Mango Chutney for the first time. In addition to a few other dishes we ordered Laal Maas (a really spicy lamb dish). That dish was the best... More

A friend and I visited here for lunch. We had the lunch special with the three curries, served with rice and naan. All dishes were wonderful. They say their food is healthier Indian, less cream hence less calories. But they don't skimp on flavour. The owner was very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.
