Completely unexpected wonderfulness in the middle of no where

Was in town to tour the Waterloo School of Architecture. Came here for dinner. Cambridge (in my opinion) is unfortunately a bit of a industrial zone. We ordered 5 dishes for take out. The girl answering the phone was very pleasant and helpful. When my husband picked up the food they were equally good. The dishes were very flavourful, an it was apparent that the spices used were of the best quality. You are not left with the heavy feeling you usually get after eating regular... More

Tucked away in a strip mall, the decor is basic. The selection of wine is limited to Niagara, so if you like a full bodied red you will be disappointed. Staff are essentially family, so they go out of their way to make you welcome and meet your needs. The food is clearly the star. It is fresh and tasty.... More

Let me start off by saying I am not disappointed with the restaurant as the title suggests. We visit our family in Waterloo every year (or every other year). Last year, we visited Mango Chutney for the first time. In addition to a few other dishes we ordered Laal Maas (a really spicy lamb dish). That dish was the best... More

A friend and I visited here for lunch. We had the lunch special with the three curries, served with rice and naan. All dishes were wonderful. They say their food is healthier Indian, less cream hence less calories. But they don't skimp on flavour. The owner was very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

We love Mango Chutney's food! Our favourite is the 'Dinner for Two' as we chose 3 dinners that come with rice and na'an… the only problem is limiting it to three ~ so we often order an appetizer as there are many tasty ones to chose from. The big bonus with this restaurant is that they don't cook with heavy... More

Few restaurants these days have a sign on the highways that aren't a chain restaurant. Happily Mango Chutney is one of these. An independent restaurant that sells its own blend of spices for cooking at home, a great deal is the dinner for two at a reasonable $35. Expect to bring some leftovers home. Also check out the health food... More

Fantastic food, excellent, freshly prepared, with fresh, healthy ingredients. The lunch buffet always has just enough and replenished with fresh-cooked. A good variety which also changes. Owners are very friendly and personable, great, clean atmosphere.

The flavours pack a punch so don't let their healthy cooking methods deter you. Satisfying a craving for Indian food does not necessarily mean scarfing down ghee and cream. The spices alone were heady and fulfilling.

The friendly, charming husband-wife team at Mango Chutney have created a gem of a restaurant! I had the best butter chicken with fresh naan bread, Chai tea, Mango Lassi and a kebab starter...amazing flavors!
