Anniversary dinner

This restaurant is upstairs from Emma's Backporch. Great view food and service. Upscale for us $100+ for two but worth it. Easy free parking.

Brunch at WSC used to be decent. Went this morning and came away from the experience bitterly disappointed. Oysters were definitely not fresh and improperly shucked. Eggs benedict were overcooked. Blueberries from the waffle station were frozen and gross. Hot item choices were sparse. Desert station also had few items. For $34 I'd expect ALOT more. For roughly $10 more... More

Six of us went to the 12:30 Brunch and none of us was happy with the selections. One of our party experienced "stomach" problems later in the day. I did not partake of the meal because as a semi-vegetarian there really was nothing for me. I don't eat fish. The 2 soup choices were fish based. None of the salads... More

This place has gone completely down hill over the last year and staff are completely RUDE!! Arrived for brunch with my boyfriend - I had just returned from vacation. Arrived at 11am - chatted to 11:20 when the waitress rudely came up to say "about your chatting, we're busy and have more reservations at 12:30". Really? there were many empty... More

Our waitress was amazing, her personality was as big as she was. Ceasar salad was grossly over dressed and the taste was just blah. Roast beef very fatty, mashed potatoes were tasty but all food on the plate was barely warm. However, the main reason we won't be coming back is the noise of the place. Have you thought about... Friday night dinner at the Cooker was a good experience. The complementary flatbread and marinated olives were delicious. The Prime Rib with mashed, green beans and Yorkshire Pudding was tender, flavourful and server at the proper temperature. My Braised Beef short rib was excellent and fall apart tender with a tasty red wine reduction. The service was good as well.... More

A group of us from work went here for dinner last night. The atmosphere is great with a beautiful view of the lake. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. I had the mussels (mediterranean sauce) and the Waterstreet Caesar as mentioned in the previous review. The mussels were really good, the sauce was delicious and the mussels were well done.... More

I usually go Thursday nights for mussels as they are outstanding!!! The Water Street Ceasar salad is made with whole romaine leaves, roasted red peppers, whole fillets of anchovies, crumbled blue cheese, and two slices of thick bacon. I love the vinaigrette as it's not a creamy dressing. And the view is spectacular overlooking the lake.

I recently wrote a review by this title for The Waterstreet Cooker, but it was not published in Waterstreet Cooker Trip advsor reference as these are both the same restaurant it creates confusion for the readership and owners regarding articles --maybe trip advisor could combine these two sites to eliminate the confusion. thanks Larry m

The Trio of Beef is by far one of the best meals I've had, not only because of the taste but also the presentation. This restaurant never disappoints. Third time here and each time it gets better. The service was wonderful, atmosphere lovely and the view is beautiful. If you are looking for a restaurant with excellent food, great service... More
