This was not my first visit to The Rude Native, and it won't be the last. The food is excellent; many tempting items on the menu and those which I have tried were quite delicious. The service is friendly and efficient. The value is reasonable. The atmosphere is relaxed and family friendly. I highly recommend it.

My son recently got married and it was our responsibility to host the rehearsal dinner. We toured through a few restaurants in the area and landed on this one due to the response we received during our initial visit as well as location to the downtown area and lake. We had lunch there just to test out the cuisine and... More

My friends and I have enjoyed many meals but our favorite is The primavera, which always sates our palate. We have always had a wonderful eating experience at the Rude Native. Keep up the great menu and atmosphere.

Alexandra (waiting tables) and Ryan (chef) did a splendid job when I recently took an older friend to their restaurant to celebrate her birthday. Thank you! The food was good but I would have enjoyed a broader menu since I am on a gluten free diet:-) Will return though!

Ordered the blackened chicken curry and received a plate of julienned peppers and onions with a grey looking sauce over top of a dried out chicken breast. Looked awful, tasted worse, and the waiter took most of it back without comment. Won't be back.

if we had to say anything negative it's that the food came too fast for our liking. We like one another. We don't need our entree before we've even done our appetizers. The wine was good. The Brie and compote was good with the roasted garlic. The jerk chicken flat bread was above standard. But the short ribs, clearly marinated... More

Went there with 4 adults on a Friday night. Three of us ordered a chicken dish, one a lamb dish. We shared the curry mussels. Mussels were a little small but enjoyed the flavor. Chicken was dry and the dishes seemed uninspired and bland. Will not be headed back anytime soon.

The Rude Native is a great place to meet with friends. Thankfully, the Rude Native is not yet another sports bar so you can enjoy conversation without blaring music and large screen TVs. It is a more funky, stylish yet casual restaurant that serves an eclectic menu with excellent happy hour food/wine deals.

There seems to be some confusion around this place’s menu. There’s no real common theme as to what this restaurant serves. Our server was nice. The food was 50/50 at best. The Blackened Chicken Curry was nice and spicy/hot. It’s pretty heavy so only order this is if you want something filling. The Rude Salad was nice except for the... More

We went for dinner Sunday night. Half price apps and entrees. Even at half price the apps aren't worth it. Ordered a $30 pitcher of Sangria. My wife drank the whole thing herself and didn't even get a buzz...no alcohol in it at all! What a joke! We went to the Martini House after for some real drinks. Will never... More
