Seemed if I ordered pub food it would have been "ok" service, but since I got a beautiful Angus Top Sirlon with mashed & veggies, the service did not match the level of food (KUDOS to the Chef!). Expect little then be surprised - just don't go there thinking you will have amazing service.

We visited Jake's last week with some friends, and while we didn't expect a really high-end meal experience, we did expect that the food and service would match the $20 - 25 entree charge, but it was not to be. For starters, the Malpeque oysters on the half shell were delicious, and served with all the sauces. The watermelon &... More

Stopped in for a few drinks and apps before a movie. Food was wonderful, fresh and delish. Loved the selection of oysters and found the staff very friendly. We sat in the lounge area and there seemed to be a lot of regular customers which is always a good sign. We'll be back!

Good food and good surroundings as well as interesting selections. Our food was well prepared and presented. It was not just the looks of the food that delighted us but mainly, the satisfying taste Enjoy, just as we did.

I was spending the night in Burlington and looking for a simple meal. This was more of a bar/date place, and for that it would be pretty good. The fish was decent, if a little pricey, and they had a nice draft beer selection.

We read the reviews and decided to give it a try. The staff are friendly and the food was perfect. We ordered Caesar salad, mussels, filet mignon and lobster tail. Everything were cooked to perfection, especially the steak...smell of wood grilled and correctly salted. We ordered fresh oysters too. Good wine list but choices of beer are limited. We will... More

While on a trip to Ontario we stayed at the hotel next to this restaurant. Due to convenience alone we ate here on the first night of our stay. To our utmost surprise the food quality was amazing! I had traditional fish and chips and a crème brûlée dessert. Both were superb. Embarrassingly we went back on our second night.... More
