Best breakfast in Burlington

While this was our first visit here, it certainly won't be our last. My wife and I went for a late breakfast on a Sunday and the place was packed and for good reason. I was quite taken with this little diner on the main drag through Burlington. The food was very good, the environs were quaint and the service was excellent. The prices were also quite reasonable. I had luncheon appointment with a colleague and we chose this place as a convenient meeting point. I took the train from Windsor and got off... More

Enjoyed my omelette! I was able to substitute a salad for the home fries (diabetic), and even though we brought in quite a crowd, they were very accommodating. This place is a Burlington landmark, but we've never been in the almost 30 years of living in this area. Well worth the trip.

Have been going to Russsell Willliams since 1966. Hasn't changed too much in that time. Still go once a month with a bunch of friends for breakfast. Still by far the best and most reasonable breakfast in town and I have tried many elsewhere. Portion are generous. Standard breakfast includes bacon, eggs, home made fried potatoes and toast as well... More

Growing up in burlington, my family and friends would go to Russell Williams every Sunday. I loved this restaurant then and I still lvoe it now. Their breakfast is so delicious. Its fair priced and the portions are large. Although sometimes the staff can be a little forgetful they are very friendly. Recommend this place to anyone looking for a... More

Generally, when meeting up with 14 people in a restaurant you fear the worst. SOMEONE will not like the service, the food, the tables, the decor, the washrooms, etc, etc. BUT in this case, there was not ONE single complaint. Right from the start, our server, Diane, was attentive, personable and willing to help in any capacity. As a previous... More

This is a very popular restaurant for locals in the Burlington area who just want to have a huge breakfast in a very very casual environment. The restaurant hasn't changed in 50 years - arborite tables and chintzy wallpaper and faux wood panels but nonetheless is a reasonably comfy environment. The food is what you would expect from a place... More

They have a really old fashioned hamburger that hits the spot. Nice sesame seed bun, perfect fried crust on the burger and good coleslaw and decent French fries. Only thing that needs improvement is their coffee.

We were only in town for a short while and had a little time to kill and our cab driver recommended this place for breakfast. It was delicious and generous and our server was a delightfully chippy Scottish lady who took great care with us. If you're in Burlington and looking for a great breakfast I highly recommend this restaurant.
