Generally, when meeting up with 14 people in a restaurant you fear the worst. SOMEONE will not like the service, the food, the tables, the decor, the washrooms, etc, etc. BUT in this case, there was not ONE single complaint. Right from the start, our server, Diane, was attentive, personable and willing to help in any capacity. As a previous... More

This is a very popular restaurant for locals in the Burlington area who just want to have a huge breakfast in a very very casual environment. The restaurant hasn't changed in 50 years - arborite tables and chintzy wallpaper and faux wood panels but nonetheless is a reasonably comfy environment. The food is what you would expect from a place... More

They have a really old fashioned hamburger that hits the spot. Nice sesame seed bun, perfect fried crust on the burger and good coleslaw and decent French fries. Only thing that needs improvement is their coffee.

We were only in town for a short while and had a little time to kill and our cab driver recommended this place for breakfast. It was delicious and generous and our server was a delightfully chippy Scottish lady who took great care with us. If you're in Burlington and looking for a great breakfast I highly recommend this restaurant.

Stopped in the other day to have lunch at Russell Williams in Burlington. As mentioned by many previous reviewers, the restaurant hasn't changed inside since the '70's. We had 4 people at our table and everyone was full to the brim when we left. I had the Julienne salad that was absolutely delicious served with off the roast turkey, ham,... More

Two of us had a great meal and great service. I had the chicken parmesan special. Vegetables were just right, not mushy. French fries were golden and crispy. The chicken was juicy and yummy too. Good coffee. Quick service. Friendly staff. We went back again in the morning and had breakfast too.

Since 1932! That's pretty impressive in an area of southern Ontario that's seen unbelievable changes over the last 82 years. Having grown up in the area and now visiting the Burlington area from time to time over the years - it's great to see a landmark that hasn't changed. In fact you can rely on good old fashioned food and... More

I love breakfast and this place does it up just right. We've been countless times and the quality is consistent. Everything we've ordered has been fantastic. The atmosphere is a total 70's Swiss chalet vibe. Dark wood, kitschy memorabilia. The servers are quick on their feet and efficient. This spot is worth the wait for a table!!!!!

We stopped at this very busy restaurant knowing we would have to wait, fifteen minutes later we were seated! Our lunch consisted of a grilled cheese with bacon, fries and gravy for my daughter, and I had a hot roast beef dinner with fries (and gravy), and corn. We ordered a Coke, and Iced Tea. My daughter loved her fries... More

Work partner and I stopped here for lunch after seeing the full parking lot. Excellent "old style" family restaurant that also has an all day breakfast. Can't wait to come back and try it!
