Good Breakfast

We went for breakfast at IKEA today. Portions were good and it was cheep. Filled us up before we went shopping. Coffee was good and the bacon and eggs for $1 are worth it

6.99 dry dry awful chicken with a ice cream scoop size mash potato. Really not impressed with the quality of the food compared to the price. A friend from Sweden raves and sings as to the quality of food in their IKEA stores. We never eat here but thought why not after what raving reviews we have heard from our... More

The cost is ridiculous. We had scrambled eggs, sausage and a coffee for 2 at a cost of ....$4.20! Are these the best? No, but for a quick bite it was fun.

We were in Toronto for a quick peek and the hotel did not offer breakfast. My wife suggested going to Ikea which was a few minutes away. It turned out to be a great idea, we were able to get a good breakfast for everyone with lots of options for a fraction of the cost of going to another restaurant... More

Yumm. So Canadian! Saturday night at IKEA shopping with penne, marinara sauce and hormone-free meat balls. It was inexpensive. $12.25 for two. Cafeteria atmosphere. Clean, friendly staff.

The food is priced at cost or close to lure you into the store, of course ... but we were so put off when we found much of the supplied cutlery was still dirty from the previous users despite having gone through the dishwasher. Egg yolks, as we all know, do tend to cling. It was enough that I cannot... More

What can you get for a loonie, how about breakfast. Ikea's breakfast of scrambled eggs, hash browns and sausage are a great way to start the day before heading off to shop the store. We've had this many times, and it's always hot, show your 'Ikea family card' and your coffee/tea is free. When school is out or Saturday's there... More

We went shopping at Ikea. The had a sign showing breakfast for one dollar. Too good to be true. We desired to try it. Wow for a buck this was an amazing deal. Scrambled eggs, hash browns and sausage. The meal was tasty! The sausage wasn't greasy the eggs were done to perfection and the hash browns were excellent. The... More

Ikea food used to be edible. We have eaten there, perhaps monthly, for several years since they opened in 1992. The last time was our last time: chicken was overcooked to the point of being nearly powder, vegetables likewise, when there is soup it is generally crust at the bottom of the tank. The meatballs are tasty but of limited... More
