Delicious breakfast, casual and busy for a Sunday morning. Wonderful for brunch - outdoor and small indoor seating area. Staff is exceptional! Owner came out to greet customers too.

I have eaten at this restaurant a number of times and I always order their roasted red pepper soup. It is so yummy - I enjoy each and every spoonful. Their homemade pizza is fresh and tasty and I always go home with a fresh loaf of bread. They have a number of great tasting options to choose from. While... More

My wife and daughter visited this restaurant on June 1st. Our experience was not poor, but it was not great either. The cashier botched our order, but the owner made up for it. The inside of the café is cozy, but doesn't seat many people. The patio isn't the most inviting, and the sitting area in the visitor center feels... More

Stopped in here while shopping downtown on Brant Street upon recommendation from a salesperson. We were looking for something tasty and quick as we were on our way out of town. This place is just off Lakeshore, and even though there is a view to the lake, you can't really see it from the outdoor patio due to all the... More

I've had breakfast and lunch here. The menu is modern and slightly quirky..very fresh ingredients too. Highly recommended especially if you are staying across the road at the Waterfront hotel where the breakfast is awful!

Small and intimate, Pane Fresco has a great selection of breakfast and lunch options. Breakfast favorites include the chocolate Pain Perdu and the classic breakfast. Lunch options are a wide variety of sandwiches and pizza (brie & prosciutto is my favorite!). What makes Pane Fresco so delicious is their specialty bread - the pizza crust is like a buttery baguette.... More

Their fig/walnut/raisin bread is so good that you have to get there early to ensure a selection. Their cheese bread available on weekends is laden with cheese and is so tasty! They have many other artisan breads to try. I have had a meal in the bistro and find it expensive, so would not go back for that purpose.

Pane Fresco is the best bakery in the Burlington area. I love their almond biscotti, pizza and bread with figs. Also try their cannoli. They have a daily lunch suggestion (I really like the gnocchi), or you can go for their famous pizza slices. On the downside: some of their plates (like the quiche) come in small portions.

Really a bakery with fabulous breads, it fills the bill for lunch as well with great pizzas and salads. Sunday brunch is also a treat with excellent waffles. Good Italian style espresso too.
