Sadly, they have closed.

I liked going there...and they had nice food...so I see that they have now closed and will soon be a poutinerie? That is a shame.

I was impressed with the quality of the food at the Bistro, although the pace of service was really quite slow. Biggest issue for me was the overall ambiance - seating was frankly uncomfortable, room was sparse and sterile, and as we were there in the winter, every time the door opened to admit new patrons, we nearly froze. At... More

There are not that many dining options in Burlington that offer such an interesting and often changing menu. Each visit there has been exceptional- the food is a little slow, but well worth the wait. The incredibly extensive wine menu will keep you entertained. The food is seasonal with old fashioned food with modern twists, using ingredients local and what... More

The service was slow, the place was dirty and the food was below satisfactory. The waiter was nice, but he was the only one servicing the entire place. I felt for him, the food was cold, delivered late, really late.....like we waited over an hour for our entree. The food was ok, again, cold. I'd never go back or recommended... More

My husband and I visited Red Canoe with a coupon just to try it out. We didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. While the ambiance is not as quiet and high end as I thought it might be, but the food presentation and quality more than made up for it. The salad was fresh, bright and delicious.... More

Never know what your dinning experience is going to be here, the chef changes things up and always uses local product for his amazing creations. Simple decor only makes the wonderful menu items more enjoyable, be sure to make a res for this wonderful surprise in dinning. Thumbs up Karl.

This is my favorite restaurant in the area. The food is always delicious and beautifully presented. The service is impeccable and they always make great wine pairing suggestions. Also, they are extremely allergy friendly!

Food was good with Salazpacho a creative combination of Gazpacho and a stuffed tomato, beef short rib you could cut with a spoon and nice trout filet, although it did have a very smokey taste which I'm not sure was meant to be. Server was attentive and knowledgeable but unfortunately our experience was ruined by the extreme slowness of the... More

It's hard to appreciate a place when food quality is average based on similar restaurants but the wait between courses is beyond long, bordering on ridiculous. 1h45 in before the main course is served is just not acceptable at any restaurant, maybe they are under staffed, who knows, unless you are polishing off a bottle or two of wine, I'd... Overall the food was good. Not amazing, but solid. The staff were friendly and relatively attentive. It felt like we were sitting around waiting to be sold more wine, as each course took a very long time to arrive. We had finished a great bottle of wine by the time our mains arrived. My wife tried the "Taste of Burlington"... More
