Busy place, you will need a reservation. Nice bright decor. Went for Sunday 2 for 44.95 prime rib dinner, very good , huge portion, dessert of strawberry rhubarb pie, best I've ever had.

Tough to write this given the number of folks who have recommended that we try Cafe Troy. Our first experience was in the Fall of 2013 - exceptional service throughout our time at Cafe Troy but the food was disappointing - it was adequate certainly not to the level that we were expecting. Our most recent experience was lunch on... More

After hearing about how good this place was from several people, we decided to try it out for lunch yesterday. We were not disappointed. Pulling up, we were delighted on just how quaint the outside was - a lovely garden out back and Donn Zver's pottery right next door. Neat as a pin. Inside, we were greeted by the nicest... More

Cafe Troy prides itself on keeping their menu based on the local market, and as a result the menu may change based on availability of certain foods. The atmosphere is quite upscale, even though it's a small cafe, in a small hamlet. The staff is very friendly, and extremely helpful. The food is top notch and quite plentiful. A salad... More

Right from the greeting we received at the entrance until the last bite of dessert was eaten, we enjoyed every moment of our time at Cafe Troy. Six of us (three couples) met for lunch with each ordering a different item from the menu and all we very pleased with both taste and presentation. I had the homemade split-pea soup... More

We arrived for our 12.30pm reservation right on time and were seated after a 3 or 4 minute wait, at a nice table by the kitchen door. The first thing that struck us, even before we were seated, was the noise. There were approximately 50 people already seated and the noise level was deafening, perhaps it didn't help that 46... More

If you are looking for a small intimate place for a romantic supper this is it. The decor is attractive and all the meals are served on hand thrown pottery. The menu is limited but the food is excellent and very well presented. Service is fast and attentive without being bothersome or annoying. The price is fair and with supper... More

Thank you for your comments on Tripadvisor. I have some concerns about your review that needs to be clarified. First of all with our 2 can dine dinners on the weekend we offer this 3 course meal at $44.99 that is $22.50 per person for a soup or salad, a main entree and a dessert. I don't see how you... More

Just went for a wonderful meal at Café Troy during this month's special Surf and Turf menu. We hadn't been for dinner for some time and it appears that Donn and his staff have made some great improvements. Dinner itself was great and as tasty as ever but with a new medley of tasty veggies including cauliflower, snap peas, and... More

Stopped in for Sunday night Prime Rib Dinner special - wow - it was fantastic - all three courses! Fresh, tender, hot, well presented meal with generous portions, served by an excellent server. Reservation IS necessary - room capacity is only 44 people, so make sure you call ahead. Such a beautiful sun-filled room, with high ceilings, and tables all... More
