We had a lovely view of the small boat marina with the sun setting behind it. Quiet, no TV's or obnoxious music. We ordered the seafood salad which was to be mixed greens but was nothing but white head lettuce. Seafood on it was good. Waiter was from Wales and was very nice and offered great service.

I loved the lobster tail and the fried scallops. The fried shrimp were a little too crunchy for my likes, but then I'm not a big fan of panko coating. Atmosphere was great for waterside dining and the inside was cozy. I do notice some bad reviews, but then I guess its just what you order. For fried seafood and... More

Not nearly amongst the top 10 restaurants in the ares in my opinion. The meal is good, maybe even average, and they don't really do anything different than any major chain restaurant in the area. The location must be the reason for the great ratings.

We went for dinner here on a Monday night. The special was all you can eat fish and chips. I had that and my husband had a lobster and crab dinner. All was excellent. With the special you may think that they would try and have the items precooked and ready to go, but everything was fresh for when you... More

We have been here several times and found it satisfactory, however this past experience has made up our mind to not re-visit. Arrived around 7pm and was seated. We waited at almost 15 minutes without being acknowledged or so much as offered a glass of water. This is very unacceptable at a restaurant that puts itself out there as casual... More

We recently returned to The Boathouse in Belleville (was always a favourite restaurant especially during the summer months) and enjoyed not only good service, but very good food and a superb view overlooking the marina from outside on the deck. We ordered a bottle of wine followed by a seafood platter consisting of halibut, scallops and shrimp - served with... More

My daughter and I decided to go for dinner here Wed, July 30th. We went late (around 8:45 p.m.) and were seated pub side. To begin with, the table had a very bad wobble. When we asked if anything could be done, our waitress said with a smile "nope." Then she shoved a paper coaster underneath making it more stable.... More

We showed up at closing time. They let us come in and eat. The food was awesome. All you can eat fish and chips. Some of the best I've had. Our server was old school but did a great job. Have her a good tip and bought her a drink for after her shift. Recommended.

A good place to have a nice dinner with friends and family. The coconut shrimp is a must. All the food was full of flavor and very fresh.

My husband and I went for dinner, the special was fish & chips, I thought I was pretty safe with that! We both had that and 1 draft each, $50.00 for the two of us. No real difference in taste between fish & fries just matter (actually I think the fries had more taste). Bit of coleslaw was bland, just... More
