We stopped in this week for what we thought would be an excellent meal. I had a bad feeling when the soup arrived sloshed over the side...no garnish and no plate underneath. I ordered the special which was beef souvlaki with rice and vegetables. My first bite of beef had a funny taste, so I tried another piece and it... More

Have been coming to this area for over 20 years. Every once in a while we go to the restaurant that is now Abbott's. Sometimes it is good, sometimes it isn't. Last time we had a good experience. This time I checked the website, liked what I saw on their new menu - planned to have the chicken souvlaki -... More

More of what I would call a bistro - quite small, with masses of paintings on the walls (mostly for sale) and a cozy atmosphere. The food is certainly unusual, but we enjoyed everything that we had - all well cooked and well presented. We were staying at Carriage Hills and it is very convenient to there and to the... More

You don't expect to find such an eclectic place in the middle of nowhere but we found the food fresh and delicious! There is a definitely Indian influence at work here, as well as Mediterranean. Our daughter had a lovely cheese ravioli in vodka sauce, which is one of her favorite sauces, and she proclaimed it "awesome"! (Mind you, we... More

Had some brilliant food here, all three main courses were excellent. The menu is not large but what a choice to pick from. The service was first class also with a good range of wines and beers to choose from. It is not a large restaurant so it may be wise to book. a definite must if you are in... More

Food was great. Service was just as good. The atmosphere is cozy and appealing for the art lovers. A great quiet place to escape once in a while. Knowledgeable staff when it came to the wine.

Menu was varied with excellent steak and seafood. Escargot were excellent appetizer, and wine chosen by the host was just right for the meal.

Although the fixed price menu is a good deal, the entire wasn't up to snuff. Appetizers; Caesar salad and bruschetta were fine. The main course, (we both had steak), was pretty good. The desserts were badly done...sorry but watery creme caramel just isn't served with a blob of whipped cream, (from a can). The upside down apple cake could've been... More

We came in for dinner after skiing at Horseshoe. Nice ambience with a warm fireplace, exposed beams and local art displayed throughout. We both ordered a different pasta. They were both bland and overpriced ($18 for one and $24 for the other once you added on chicken). For that price, you could get an excellent dinner at an amazing Toronto... More
