I always stop in at the Tulip on my way to work. Their cheddar and spinach scones are amazing, a meal by itself really. I would also recommend the crepes Florentine for breakfast. This isnt fast food so i would recommend making time for prep.

I recently was told to go check out this place for breakfast . Had the breakfast sandwich , consisted of possibly the best fresh focaccia bread I have ever had ( seriously , so fluffy and tasty you want to eat a loaf to yourself ) , turkey bacon , fresh greens a fried egg and a chipotle mayo .... I have been to this little café on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. Weather you are in the mood for some soulful soup, a sit down breakfast (the Huevos Rancheros is the best), a quick bite on the run (cheddar and spinach scones are to die for) or simply a delicious coffee, this is the ONLY spot. Michelle... More

The best sandwiches that Barrie has to offer! Been here many times while visiting or just passing through Barrie, always worth the stop. Very small, clean cafe located right across from the bus station right on the main strip. Limited parking on the street and parking lot to the south of the building. Lots more parking near the water, about... More

This funky cafe is a breathe of fresh air in the heart of downtown Barrie. I could go on about the great vibe that this place puts out, or how amazing the Huevos Rancheros breakfast is, or how happy the staff is to see me every time I walk threw the door, but I won't. What I really want to... More

Great breakfast-classic choices but spiffed up to be more healthful. Baked goods are really tasty and the coffee is great. Try the Canadiano-a twist on Americano. Nice laid back vibe too. Great spot downtown Barrie!

As a frequent traveller north of Barrie, never really considered it to have more than a McDonalds and Starbucks. I happened upon Lazy Tulip by chance. The owner's smile was enough to feed my soul. The menu changes often. (I have been back several times ) Everything I have had delicious. The house made focaccia bread tells you right away... More

One of my favourite spots for lunch after a trip to the farmer's market. A cozy and comfy cafe that feels like a home away from home. Delicious sandwiches, soups, salads, desserts and more.
