Stopped in for lunch at this nice little place in Barrie. The food was good. The menu offered a number of reasonably priced lunch selections ($10-20) with choice of homemade gourmet soup, salad or fries. Also on offer was a quiche of the day. The service was great, very friendly staff and attentive. I would recommend this as a worthwhile... More

Nothing ordinary about this restaurant! Dropped in (no reservation) with my wife and daughter recently to have lunch and what a surprise. The menu choices were tantalizing, the food beyond expectation, and some wines not off the rack at the LCBO. To top it all off, the staff were friendly and helpful in guiding us through our choices. Professional at... More

I have been going to Painter's Hall for over a year. I used to spend my dining dollars at Oliver and Bonacini in Blue Mountain, but I have learned that I get way better bang for my buck at Painter's Hall. The food is amazing! The staff are so friendly and down to earth. Shane and Erin are the owners... More

Dear Freightliner, Thank you for your feedback regarding your visit to our restaurant. I truly makes me sad and frustrated learning that you did not enjoy your experience. I personally take a great deal of pride in our attempt to offer a fine dining experience at a price point comparable to some of the chain restaurants like The Keg and... More

Went during Barrielicous and felt ripped off. I had been to other participating restaurants and new what to expect for the price but felt it was a little sub par. The appetizer salad was just ok, not much of it, the entree chiken was very small and The accompanying vegetable was finished in 2 bites. The dessert was so frozen... More

The outside appearance belies the tasteful, modern decor inside. In this setting, friendly and efficient wait staff serve delicious servings of a fair variety of dishes. The walls in each room are hung with contemporary paintings that add to its pleasantry.

Been here many times with wife, with colleagues, and with friends. The pork belly and scallop dish is incredible. Have always enjoyed the food and service here.

We went with friends and had 4 great meals. Good variety on the menu - something for everyone and decent selecton of wines. Food is priced appropriately for what you get - the preparation and quality is excellent. Highly recommend it if you are in Barrie looking for good food prepared properly at decent prices.

Went for lunch for Barrielicious. Servings and menu is the same as for dinner, $20 for lunch, $5 more for supper. Food was incredible. Best mussels I have ever had! Really good. Chicken too. Very nice service. Still one of my fave places in Barrie!
