Only took the desserts there and it was delicious. The service was really great, friendly and helpful. Especially the girl who served us, quite tall and very sweet, she made our day.

Loved this restaurant. We ate there twice. The pasta is excellent, especially the sauce. We are Italian and generally don't eat at Italian restaurants while on holiday. This place is an exception. We had gnocchi and seafood linguine which were divine. The second time we wanted a light meal so shared the ravioli dish and a pizza. The pizza is thin... More

I had a wonderful meal at A Mano last night. I sat outside, a hard table to get, and my waitress was attentive and helpful. I had wonderful fried calamari first. It was super crispy but the calamaris were soft and fresh. For my main course I had a terrific linguine with seafood. Perfectly cooked shrimp, tender clams and muscles... More

Fish was good. Pizza was too dry and hard. No bread at an Italian restaurant: REALLY?????? Had to ask twice for more water. Very Overrated.

We had a delicious lunch here in a popular area of town. Our waiter was really helpful about ordering. We had appetizers and a salad and both were excellent. And I am glad we followed our waiter's advice to get the small size salad. Even the small size was big!. Good service , friendly wait staff and attractive atmosphere. A... More

I are lunch here and the list of starters was so good that I picked three of them to have as starter and main course all rolled together! The crimini stuffed mushrooms were just amazing- apparently they sell out if them every day, and I'm not surprised! The calamaretti were so fresh, and the trio of bruschetta were also perfect!... My mother and I went to A Mano for lunch when I was visiting home one weekend. It was beautiful weather and we sat outside with a lovely veiw of the Halifax harbour. We shared the Insalata Erbette and agreed it was one of the best salads we have ever had, although next time I would ask for less goat... More

Met family for supper on a busy weeknight. Courteous, on the move and friendly staff who gave helpful advice about menu options and arranged for a custom-made dish for one of our party after discussing likes and dislike. Delicious, interesting food all round and yummy gelato. Be warned, this popular spot can be very noisy and we were glad to... More
