Your Father's Moustache is the place to be for great food, fun and live entertainment in downtown Halifax. Our scrumptious menu includes fish and chips, lobster, pasta, steaks, and seafood. Our patio has been voted #1 in halifax for the last 11 years for best patio. Our pub club was so good for so long that they retired the club category and we are forever the best club in town. Voted best wings, best caesar, best brunch and best service at different times over the last few years. Our legendary brunch is available Saturday, Sunday and all holidays. Hope to see you at the Stache.

Thursday of chicken wings

If you want to save some money go on Thursday with some friends order different type of chicken wings and shared them. It is really delicious and cheap (depending on how many chicken wings you order).

If you are visiting Halifax and need a place to go out to eat this is it. There is a welcoming atmosphere with cheerful and helpful staff. The owner, Bruce is usually around, mingling with guests and staff, keeping a close eye on how things are going. Next time I visit Halifax I will certainly have this pub on my... More

My family and I have visited twice in the last few weeks for an early supper around 5pm. It has a great atmosphere with great service and nice food. On Saturday's they have a great live band and many people are up enjoying a dance. Service is quick and friendly and food is piping hot and tasty! We will definitely... More

Following our tour of the Citadel, we stopped for lunch. The 'trek' to the patio - all stairs and no elevator was rather tough on sore legs! LOL! Had to track down our server - but then seem to pick up. Good selection of both craft and regular beers. The group ordered a Thai Chicken sandwich, Lobster roll, and Fish... More

Sat a table and took a least 5 minutes for a waitress to come over to give us our menus. She delivered our order within a reasonable time, but forgot the dressing for my wife's salad and the chipotle mayo for my daughter's sweet potato fries. My order was fine. Wasn't that busy when we got there, but got noticeably... More

Loved this pub. It is one of the more established places and usually busy. It has a rooftop patio area that is so cool. Go about 5 to get a seat though. Stay until all the lights come on if you can it is pretty cool to see. You are in an oasis in the middle of the city. Note:... More

The pasta was good, the salad was huge, I don't recommend the milkshake alcohol drinks. Cute little pub with pictures of men with crazy moustaches. Service was good. Very steep stairs going up to the pub.

Since we have been in Halifax the first time in 2010 Your Fathers Moustache is always the first place we go and have a good Canadian-American meal. The staff is very friendly and efficient, the location is great in downtown Halifax and we also like the interior. There isn't anything special about the food but it is great together with... More

Great location and roof deck. The bummer is that we got a table on the deck, and in doing so, walked by 4 waitresses, all seeming to have a good time. We ended up waiting almost 10 minutes before they came over to wipe down the table and offer us a menu. It was very awkward. For all of the... More
