My wife and I went here for dinner and started in the quent English style pub down stairs. The have "English Style" beer on "Pull Tap." We then went up to the dining room. Nicely appointed room with 2 fireplaces. We started with English style onion soup in a crock. I then had Steak and Kidney pie, with a light... More

The service in the main floor dining room is unaccomodating and pretentious with no justification. An okay pub.

This pub was near our hotel so we went our first night. The menu has a good range of things at typical prices and everything we had was delicious . The service was very good friendly and helpful but not OTT.

Went here as it was recommended by Lonely Planet. So happy we did. I had fish cakes with a blue cheese salad. My wife had a brie, pumpkin, squash and mushroom tart. We shared an apricot and amaretto cheesecake. All the food was superb, have never tasted food this good in a pub. A great choice of beers to go... More

We were leaving Pictou and heading to the Halifax Airport with time to kill. The Henry House was recommended to us so why not try it, right! Well it was a great recommendation. We enjoyed our appetizers, had a great lunch, and tried the beer samplers. The mussel appetizer was what I was looking for and it hit the mark.... More

Food from a pub can always be a gamble so when we tried ordering non-traditional pub food we were blown away by what we got. I had the fantastic Nova Scotia Pork Chop and my partner had the Pan Fried Haddock. Both were amazing not just in taste but visually as well. Add some local craft beer to the mix... More

This place is certainly cool in appearance and they have done a nice job of establishing a great pub inside. We enjoyed a couple of nice (local) ales on the outside deck. Cheers!

Great pub with lots of unique beers on tap. Make sure to check out the upstairs open weekend evenings for prohibition type cocktails. Some comfy chairs and fire in the winter is a great way to spend an evening.

Enjoyed the conversation and advice of down stairs Bartender who gave us advice about Cape Breton area. The House itself is very historic and interesting to explore.
