This was our third or fourth visit to Old Triangle. It never disappoints. We were a large party at lunchtime and they quickly put together tables for us. Service was prompt and the food was really good. Good variety on the menu.

Popped in for a couple pints after walking around the city all day. We were chilly and this place was warm all the way around. Talked to the bartender for a good amount of time...great guy...talked to the waitress about her neices Big Tuna Catch. This place made me feel like a local. Or like I wanted to be.....

My husband stopped in for lunch one day and I was excited to just be there. The décor was awesome and there are so many cool nooks and corners for you to sit in. The menu was huge and I had trouble even deciding what to eat. The staff was uber friendly and our meal came out promptly even with... More

Loved this place. A nice Irish pub with a large beer selection with all sorts of local beers available. The menu was great with lots of options. Prices are reasonable. Frequently visit for lunch. Good selection of pub food. Lots of seating space in large pub. Food is very reliable and always meets expectations. Good selection of beers, including local brews. Usually good and experienced waiting staff.

This place was a big bar restaurant, live music was great. I had fish cakes with baked beans which were great. My wife had a pork dish which was also good. Nice atmosphere. Not too loud.

Food was excellent. Service was excellent. A bit drafty, but I would certainly go back! Definitely a recommended place in Halifax. Had clams for dinner & calamari to start. Perfectly cooked.

Having spent a very enjyable morning at the Maritime Museum whilst our good ladies were at the markets, a mate and I were looking for a bite of lunch and had the good fortune to stumble across the "Old Triangle". It is a typical Irish pub with a wide range of beers, ales and stouts on tap, but more importantly... More

When we are in Halifax we often go to the Old Triangle for lunch. It has great atmosphere and in the summer you can eat outside. The service is fast and friendly. There is a wide variety of food to choose form and we often have the steak sandwich with their sweet potato fries. A great place to eat and... More
