Food was excellent. Service was excellent. A bit drafty, but I would certainly go back! Definitely a recommended place in Halifax. Had clams for dinner & calamari to start. Perfectly cooked.

Having spent a very enjyable morning at the Maritime Museum whilst our good ladies were at the markets, a mate and I were looking for a bite of lunch and had the good fortune to stumble across the "Old Triangle". It is a typical Irish pub with a wide range of beers, ales and stouts on tap, but more importantly... More

When we are in Halifax we often go to the Old Triangle for lunch. It has great atmosphere and in the summer you can eat outside. The service is fast and friendly. There is a wide variety of food to choose form and we often have the steak sandwich with their sweet potato fries. A great place to eat and... More

If a properly poured Guinness is a concern to you a shamrock on top with the head exactly the right distance from the rim.... then this is the place for you. The food choices are excellent with a lamb burger and all the traditional foods available. Brian the Inn Keeper knows his business very well. There is no finer Irish... More

My first time here, saw the sign for brunch so I checked it out. Service was excellent, and so was the food. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for variety food, and like a pub atmosphere, then this is your place, the food is simply amazing, I have eaten here on several occasions, and never once has something I didn't enjoy. Along with the meal, the staff are great, Irish music is available most evenings. It is definately a place to look into. Some... More

If you are looking for a steak and fries this is your place. Music is usually traditional and patron participation is welcomed. Great service ! Ask where the band is going to set up if you arrive early, you don't want to be on top of them if you like your hearing.

A very nice meal at a reasonable price. Enjoyed the Irish music playing in the background while we ate.
