Fantastic food and live music

Every time I gomto Halifax I find myself drawn to this fantastic pub - this trip was no exception! When you walk in the door there is such a warm and cozy feeling. Food was good, service was okay, entertainment was great. Place was almost empty when we went in but it filled up within an hour.

Has an amazing feel of Ireland. Live Celtic music sets the mood. An excellent assortment of draught beer which always makes me happy. The menu has some excellent pub fare with even a few Irish traditional meals. A great place to hang with your friends and enjoy great music, food and draught!!

This place rocks, was advised by a couple of the locals to visit Halifax, this was one of the restaurants recommended for dinner. I had to try the fish and chips to see if it equal those back in England. The answer, well done! Good local live music as well. If you got the time stop here for a meal... More

We were just out for a walk and stopped for a drink and stayed for dinner! We were greeted with smiles and made our way through the crowd to find a place to sit. Our sever was prompt and friendly and engaging, chatting about the menu and places to visit. Our meals were a cross section of what was offered... More

We stopped into this pub for lunch as it is located very close to the boardwalk along the ocean. We always enjoy a Guinness so we thought we would stop in. It was extremtely busy outside on the patio because of the warm weather, but we found a cozy little spot inside that was not quite so jammed with people.... More

Old style Irish pub with live entertainment and an atmosphere that takes you to Ireland. A great stop for an after dinner drink.

Last year we took a trip to Ireland and loved going to the pubs and listening to the Irish music. When we went to the Old Triangle I felt like I was back in Killarney, with a group of musicians and an occasional singer huddled in the corner playing their craft. A pint of Smithwicks and some great food rounded... More

On a rainy evening, it was packed when we arrived, and tables are fist come, first served. After only a short wait we found a spot and were served very quickly. The food was delicious, especially the haddock, which was mouthwatering. Our server was very attentive, in spite of the busy crowd. Happy we chose this place for our first... More

Good staff, live music, atmosphere and food; except their wings. Good sauce but so fatty you can tell they aren't fresh n came out of a box. Disappointed but besides the gross wings everything was good, I'll be back.
