Server was very good. Wings were overcooked and unappetizing.

The beer and service was good. However I can't understand why the wings could be so overcooked. There were only a few people in the establishment. "Only wings I guess". Who cares. 12.00 bucks waisted.

My wife and I visited here while on vacation. This was the closest pub and within walking distance to where we were staying. We were there on a Saturday evening and it was karaoke night. The pub was mostly full and patrons were really into the singing. It seemed like most of the people were regulars. We were just there... More

I went to the Lions Head for an informal business lunch and found what I expected. The food was typical for a local pub and the service was just ok. Parking was a nightmare for this location and we ended up having to park in the street around the corner. The weather was nice so we sat outside on the... More

This place is alright. Typical pub. I've been there before in the evenings for karaoke, and twice for food. The waitresses were very nice. The food was alright. Other members of my group were really impressed with their chicken burgers, but I just had a salad both times. I like that there are a couple of interesting ideas for salads.... More

The only pub on the north end. Just a normal pub with pub food. Friendly service and good atmosphere to just hang out with friends.

This is a pub/tavern so the decore, menu and service is very much in keeping with this. We had nachos and they were alright with a fair amount of cheese. The Shepherd's Pie was delicious and I'd recommend. A good pub must have a decent beer selection and serve it cold. The Lion's Head scores on both counts. The menu... More

Mixed results. The beer selection was good. The smoked meat dishes were excellent - the fries tasted "re-heated" in old grease. The Big Boy Club was very ample and tasty. The baked potato was fully loaded - had to be good, right?

I have been a customer at the Lions Head since it opened back in the late sixties. Being British going to a local pub was always a tradition and I was initially impressed by the owners efforts to make this "our local". My husband and I used to enjoy going there for a casual meal and a cold beer. Later... More

I have always enjoyed the atmosphere and food, great place to gather but the wings need to be scraped and replaced with something real. Factory battered and with the same meat one might find on a pigeon, stay away until they find a new supplier. Think they run on the wing nite promo but forget we want the real thing... More

We went here before a concert at the Forum and it was quite an experience. There were patrons who had clearly over indulged and were being loud and vulgar on the deck so we moved inside to eat. The menu consisted of pretty basic bar food in our opinion. The nachos were terrible but our companions had smoked meat sandwiches... More
