I had avoided eating a Gio for two nights, but we decided to try it since we were staying at the Prince George. This was the best, most innovative cuisine we had in the city--everything well prepared and served. Although somewhat pricey, it was worth it. more

Despite other reviews being less than enthusiastic, we found this to be a wonderful evening. The welcome, service and food were almost faultless. For the record we are both very enthusiastic foodies and like to think we know what good looks like! From the pre-meal martinis through to post-supper brandies we loved every single bite. I expected a lot more of this restaurant. The decor was nice, but the music was not conducive to a relaxing dining experience.
