Right across from our hotel (Four Points Sheraton), the perfect spot for casual breakfast or coffee. Really comfy leather chairs, "cabin" decor complete with (fake?) moose head and native American blankets, excellent cappuccino and tasty breakfast sandwiches at reasonable prices with pleasant staff. We loved it and had a hard time making ourselves stand up and leave.

As our hotel didn't offer a breakfast, we walked across the street to Cabin Coffee for two mornings and enjoyed their breakfast special of egg sandwich (with meat or double egg) and coffee for under $6. We enjoyed the house blend very much and took baked goods to go for day trips. We enjoyed the scones and breakfast bar very... More

My wife and I love our specialty coffees and have been having a tough time finding a good espresso place in Nova Scotia. First trip into Halifax, and boom, Cabin Coffee. Great staff, knowledgeable, great coffees, great snacks (the homemade powerbars are to die for) and super place. Comfy seating, strong wifi, it doesn't get any better than this.

Great spot for breakfast or lunch. Prices were reasonable and service was friendly. Good for budget conscious for those who don't want the typical Timmies.

This atmosphere in this place is great. The chairs inside are super comfortable, they got great adirondack chairs (if you don't mind sitting right beside the entryway) and a few coffee tabled and chairs out front. The interior is decor is everything stereotypical Canadian cottage. It's really comfy here whether it's summer or winter. I would agree that the coffee... More

I am a decaf drinker and the coffee here was great. Seating is very comfortable and wifi excellent! I will most definitely return.

We loved this place for breakfast. It's right across from the Four Points by Sheraton hotel. The breakfast bun (a bun with egg, cheese and bacon or ham) & coffee combo is great value (< $5) and they make some wonderful cinnamon buns. The service was excellent and it's so quaint inside -- just like a cottage. This is a... More

Across from the hotel where I was staying so I decided to walk over for breakfast. Had a breakfast sandwich, scone, and a coffee. All great, especially the blueberry cranberry scone. Very comfortable and relaxing spot to sit and enjoy a coffee. Love the decor, log cabin with comfy leather furniture. Very inexpensive. So worth a stop in!

If you're into fake-real cabins, this is a charming coffee shop. I don't expect cabin in downtown Halifax, so I found it more amusing than calming. The coffee was really good, but the service was so-so when we went. However, if you like to avoid chains, and your hotel is nearby, try here. I preferred the Wired Monk, so if... More

The decor is what makes this café stand out. Rustic, warm, cozy and obviously, very cabin-chalet-ski lodge like. The café is extremely comfortable and a great place to stop. Apart from the impressive look, baked goods were merely average, and the drink prices were on par with that of Starbucks. Getting our order of scones and bagels took a bit... More
