We were staying in this part of Halifax, and realized that a lot of establishments are closed on Sunday. We stopped here for dinner and had a great meal served by one of the best servers I've ever had. Very nice bistro atmosphere, and one of the best bowls of soup I've ever had - which was surpassed by the... More

We hadn't seen them in a while. Brunch & catch up. A perfect place to do both. Great menu, nice wine. Two shared the same item, two wandered into new territory. Fish & chips, pizza and a steak. Lemon desert excellent for all four. All meals were great. Good service and friendly staff make this a repeat kind of place.

Liz and her team are always so cheerful, professional, and ready to make your visit memorable. We recently tried brunch, and it was to die for. It's the best holandaise sauce I've ever had. (apparently it's one of their specialities - amazing when you have a chef that makes something from scratch, and what a difference it makes.) Visit Liz... More

The food was fairly good but not truly French, the dining room was attractive but service was poor. The entrees brought to us were the wrong ones. The server rushed us through, bringing everything at once. It was chaotic. Cannot recommend.

I had never heard of this restaurant and stumbled upon its website online and I must say I was very glad I did. It is at the bottom of an apartment block which is weird but once you get in there is great atmosphere. We went on a Sunday night which is a good night because you get a free... More

We booked our anniversary dinner for two at LeBistro By Liz online at their website. The email confirmation was prompt and friendly. We were greeted with enthusiasm and seated at a table in the atrium beside a window overlooking the gardens. Marc, our server, brought complimentary glasses of sparkling wine to our table with anniversary greetings and an invitation to... More

This little bistro was recommended by the host at our B&B. We weren't disappointed. Although it's situated at the base of a condominium, you soon forget this little detail once you step into the restaurant. We were greeted and escorted to our table by the owner. The atmosphere was pleasant - lots of people seeming to be having a good... More

We had lunch here, and what a delight. Our waiter, Michael, was the best – friendly and knowledgeable and checked on us just the right amount. The food was delish, too. We had the cheese plate and the goose paté for appetizers, both of which came with scrumptious and generous toast points made from fresh baked bread. I had the... More

We had a very nice meal at this French bistro. It is located on the ground floor of what seems to be a condo. There is a convenience store inside the outer door, right by the restaurant entrance, which is not very attractive, but once inside, the French sidewalk ambiance is charming. We both had typical French meals (onion soup,... More
