unreal. Words can not describe how good this food is. Expect the wonderful waitress, she can describe the food in a way that no one else can!

At the end of our 2-week driving trip around the Maritimes, we were craving something different for dinner. Thankfully, we saw Cheachie's listed on TripAdvisor, when we looked for something near our hotel. We were thrilled to find that all the great food reviews were true, and the service was also great. The food was fresh and the prices were... More

We dined at lunchtime with my sister and her husband - he is from Mexico. Friends and coworkers had told us; "this place is a hidden gem", and we weren't disappointed. We had chicken nachos, beef fajitas, enchiladas, and margaritas, and we thought we were at a cafe on the beach in Cancun. Real homemade guacamole, pico de guyo, fresh... More

I had heard really good things about this restaurant and was excited to try it. I don't post a lot of bad reviews as I am not overly picky, but I cannot give this place a good review. First of all, there was 1 server working. 1. She was also the one making the drinks. It took 25 minutes for... More

If you're at the big box stores in Bayers Lake, this spot is a nice alternative to the chain restaurants, but otherwise I would not make a special trip out. The wait staff works hard to please, but the decor and music are reminiscent of a suburban Mexican themed basement, and the guacamole is slimy and likely bought at Costco.... More

Sometimes I dream about the chicken burrito at Cheachie's. Mmmmm. Tonight, I gave in again and ordered it up, with rice and beans, and a frosty root beer. Amazing. Delicious. A little spicy. Perfect. So glad we could get a table. We'll be back soon...

We visited Cheachie's based on the recommendation of a friend and we definitely weren't disappointed! Started the meal with chips and fresh homemade salsa, followed by chimichangas and fajitas. The food was delicious! Great authentic Mexican! The shaken (not frozen) margarita was one of the best hands down! If you are visiting the Halifax area, this is a must visit!... More

Friendly, welcoming service and great food at a reasonable price. What else could you ask for? Besides having great meal, we had a totally enjoyable evening with lots of laughs thanks to the repartee with the waitress. Service was a little slow but that just gave us a chance to enjoy ourselves a while longer! Can't wait to go back.

Went today for the first time and loved it. Service was a bit slow, but the wait staff were very nice. The food was amazing. Loved the rice and beans, had chopped steaks tacos with onion, cilantro and grilled pineapple....mmmmmm your table had 5 different types of hot sauces to chose from. We are looking to go back and try... More

We visited Cheachie's Grill thanks to the many wonderful TA reviews below and it did not disappoint! The waitress was very friendly and explained the special (Nacho Wednesday) to us, kept us informed on how things ran (ringing of the bell), explained the homemade hot sauces (habanero was my favourite) and even stopped to chat about our vacation. The food... More
