7 of us went to lunch here on a Thursday. We arrived before 12 and were promptly seated. There was only one table of 4 in the dining room already eating. All ordered sandwiches and some had the daily soup. The squash soup was just okay. I had the curried chicken salad served on ciabatta with the Belgium fries. Nice... More

I've eaten here before and found it lacking, but I recently ate here again and my experience was so horrible I have to write another review. Went for a business lunch and made it clear we had to go back to the office. We waited 20 minutes for our drinks (most were non-alcoholic), and 45 minutes for our food. We... More

Well let's just say we saw a mouse dart through the dining room and that was the highlight. The food was mediocre at best and the service was painfully slow. I read through the TA reviews while waiting and they appeared to be hit and miss....ours was definitely a huge miss.

The mussels in Brussels are as good as in Belgium itself. And, thank heavens, you don't get french fries in mayo (yes, the authentic Belgian way!). Having read some of the other reviews I guess it depends on when you go and who is cooking/serving. Well the chef was on song and our server couldn't have been nicer, helping us through... More

I have been going to Brussels since they first opened their doors and after being away from the downtown core for a year on maternity leave, a return within the first weeks back to work was a must. I wasn't dissapointed. My two favourite dishes are the Belgian Poutine and the Curry Chicken sandwich and although a salad is much... More

We were a party of 6 adults for dinner - our bill (including a generous tip) came to 258.00. (Food was just ok and dessert was burnt). We had a gift certificate that stated "dinner for 6 - 300.00 value" and although we confirmed by telephone when we made our reservation that if we did not spend the full amount... More

Last time we tried to get in, the place was packed, so we left. This time it was empty. Servers were attentive & knowledgeable. My partner asked about a particular beer and they offered a taster (good move), so she ordered a pint. Meal arrived quickly (we were in a hurry). My ribs were very good, but there was way... More

We were at Brussels Restaurant on a cool and windy night last week and I must admit that we picked it as it was close to our hotel - Delta Barrington. However, the meal was very good and the owner, server a delight. No pretense. Friendly, considerate and accommodating. It was a quiet night at the restaurant and we were... More

Visited for an early supper with my parents on a Saturday afternoon. First we ordered drinks. Upon them arriving, an entire bottle of beer fell off of the servers tray and the glass did as well, and shattered all over our table. She insinuated that it was my dad's fault for not grabbing his drink out of her hand fast... More

My husband & I went to Brussels last evening for the 1st time. We had checked the menu, etc., on line & thought it was worth going too...Well BIG MISTAKE!!! When we walked in, we both thought the same...we should have left then. For the pricing on their menu, this is a joke!!! The appetizers we had (oyster gratin &... More
