Dinner Brunch

Food was good but rather average with Shepherd's pie and seafood pie among the main entrees. There was a good roast loin and great desserts but the view was spectacular and the service was exceptional.

We went for the prime rib dinner. I do not recall having prime rib cooked on both sides like a steak. My wifes was tough, and while the waitress was new, i think she should know what was included in the menu. I blame the lack of knowledge of the staff on the hotel in not educating the staff. For... It is extremely disappointing as Nova Scotian to visit one of our very best hotel resorts only to find the most poorly trained staff anywhere. And you know it is not their fault!!! The staff have such amiable and friendly personalities it is not in their nature to be providing poor service they just don't know what they dont know.... More

I have been to this restaurant before. I have even reviewed their fantastic Prime Rib Wednesday special. This time I was here for a work function so a bunch of us decided to head to the restaurant. I'm hoping it was an off night for the chefs and that will explain the food. I order the 10oz Rib eye with... More

Uncle Frank retired to Florida when he reached 60 something, and i used to visit him yearly at his posh Boca Raton retreat. I could almost see him there, as their local restaurant looked and felt the same- old couples walking slowly, and a kind of uninspiring food. should have known right when we sat down, catching that the wine... We ate a dinner and a buffet breakfast here in early October while travelling along the Annapolis Valley highway after coming off the St.John to Digby ferry. The dinner we had was in a spacious dining room with tables set formally with a white tablecloth and nice table setiings. The menu was to our liking offering foods we enjoy. The... More

We chose The Pines for a family meal (there were eight of us) and, though there was nothing specific that you would want to complain about, neither was there anything specific you would want to praise them for. The food was average. The service was average. The atmosphere and decor were average. The price, on the other hand, was above... More

We escaped the crowds in downtown Digby during the Wharf Rat Rally and enjoyed a delicious lunch on the terrace at the Digby Pines Resort. Beautiful view and enjoyable lunch.

We were in Digby around dinner time last night and decided to eat at Churchill's Restaurant at The Digby Pines. To our delight it was "Prime Rib Wednesday"! We were served a fabulous three course meal that was out of this world!! We're going to see if we can find ourselves in Digby next Wednesday too!
