We expected it to be good due to the reviews but it was even better than expected. All the courses were so wonderful and expertly prepared. The atmosphere was so enjoyable and friendly. Wish we had a place like this in our home town. If in Digby make sure you come here!!

What a deal and great food too! This tiny, charming restaurant is owner operated and you will be sure to meet them during your visit. Our four course meal for a very reasonable price was delicious! It started with seafood spread and fresh baked bread, I then had mussels, lobster ceviche, pork tenderloin main course followed by a delicious sorbet... More

When I called Mag Pyes to make a reservation, I had to leave a message. I wondered if I would receive a call back. The very next morning around 9:00 my phone rang and it was Tony from the restaurant. I explained we were heading to Digby for a special 25th birthday celebration for my son's girlfriend. We discussed the... More

We ate at Mag Pies on recommend of our B&B at "Come from Away". Remarkable three course dinner for $35 each. BYOB @ $5t corkage. Tony is host, great guy; Margaret runs the business in the kitchen. If staying over in Digby, find them. You will be happy you did.

Select each of three courses from a choice of 3-5 items per course for $35. Small house built in 1783 seats about 20. We made a reservation in the morning and watched a couple turned away because it was fully booked. First course was fish chowder, sweet potato with curry soup. Both excellent. Before the first course came a lobster/scallop... More

We spent 3 nights in Digby at the end of June and had a delicious dinner and 2 great breakfasts with Margaret and Tony. Day 3 was Monday which is the day they are closed or we would have been back. The breakfast menu has lots to choose from but we went with the traditional eggs and ham/sausage/bacon because it... More

What an evening we had. On extended camping tour and we could not miss Digby. Our granddaughter was with us and this was the perfect pick. Fixed price ($36) with several courses. Spouse and I had the mussel appetizer followed by clam cerviche and the seared clam dinner. Granddaughter had mussels, tomato and onion mozzarella salad and the grilled salmon.... More

On our last visit to Digby we read some reviews about Mag Pyes and decided that this was the place for us to dine that evening. Well, what can I say, we were blown away by the quality and diversity of the food as well as the warm welcome from the owners, Chef Margaret and Maitre'D Tony. Margaret and Tony... More

This place is a true find! We asked our innkeeper for a restaurant recommendation. He gave us two and so glad we chose Mag Pyes. We did not expect the creative culinary delights that came from the kitchen. From the delicious and homemade tray of appetizers through the dessert course, we were so impressed. The food was fresh, recipes unique... More

I have celiac disease and was delighted to get gluten free pancakes with a generous covering of homemade blueberry sauce. You could tell people liked the food. Except for our party of 4, most of the others there were repeat customers.
