I have been going to Jamiesons a couple times a year since they opened and always had consistently good food until this time. I ordered the maple curry chicken pasta and it was lacking in taste. You could taste the curry somewhat, but hardly any maple flavor. My spouse had the prime rib and enjoyed it. Service was great, wine... More

Although we have eaten at Jamieson's with much delight this weeks visit during Buger Week was indeed a rare treat. The friendly and professional staff ensured our visit was once again an enjoyable outing.

I have been visiting Jamieson's for a number of years now and have always been impressed with the food and service. It's not downtown but the food is uptown, excellent and reasonably priced. A place i take my clients when they are in town. My last visit was after a major snow storm passed through the Halifax area and despite... More

We always make an effort to stop here on our visits to halifax. In the summer its a lovely spot to eat outside overlooking the harbour and its across from the Cows store for dessert. The food is ALWAYs hot and delectable. My son loves the bangers and mash and my husband typically gets the fish and chips.

This is now a "go-to" spot. All of the pastas are amazing and flavorful! The specials are always delicious and push you outside your normal order. I find it has a good mix of the old and new. New flesh bold flavors if you are adventurous, but also good old classics if your prefer a more simple meal. Cozy atmosphere... More

Us 5 ladies visited on 28feb15. The food was fabulous. Side ceasar salad a little small but delicious. Main meals of steak, haddock, chowder, seafood linguini & a gluten free chicken dish were fantastic. Having Irish roots, loved the atmosphere. I heard it was good & it definately was!! Would definately go back!

Pretty pricey fish and chips but great variety of beer. The soup was kinda salty but quite tasty, and the veggies were horribly overdone. Very expensive for 3 adults (150 bucks) but folks were great.
