The food is great and the staff very friendly...maybe a bit pricey? I do recommend the lamb burger though...

I came to this place to try the famous Poutine. Top it off with BBQ pulled pork and you've got a winner! Also had the 3 mushroom and Swiss burger. Was good but for me was all about that Poutine!

We've driven by this place a hundred times with no interest in trying it, but one day we were in the area and said, "Why not?". A pleasant surprise inside as it's done in a open warehouse concept, well lit and with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Tons of free parking outside in a business section of the city. We... I've been here twice whilst visiting family in Nova Scotia. I originally heard of Cheese Curds as it was featured on "You gotta eat here!" The first time I visited in 2013, I had the Pulled Pork Poutine which was nice. We went back in December 2014 and I thought I'd try the original one. I absolutely LOVE poutine, but... More

I have had cheese curds a few times and every time i am pleased from the burgers to the poutine, my favourite is the aloha burger with a nice slice of pineapple on it, but the triple bacon is pretty lose

Sought this place out after seeing them on TV's You Gotta Eat Here. Thoroughly enjoyed the Triple Bacon Burger and the onion rings were fantastic. Loads of great items to have on the burger or as a side sauce including a great mango chutney. Found it a little pricey but the portion was very large. Well worth the visit!!

Cheese Curds launched a major trend in the Halifax area - the gourmet burger joint. It also sparked several places to serve poutine. There were lines out the door for the first month. And for good reason - the food is great. Everything is real. So Sysco fries or bagged lettuce here. Fresh ingredients (and local when available) are combined... More

Tasting the poutine makes me feel like I am back in Quebec City. I thought I could only get a real poutine when I went home to Quebec until Cheese Curds came along. The taste transports me to the local Chip Truck in my Home Town. Now I can have a REAL poutine and I only have to drive to... More
