It is a cafe, and meals are secondary; generally just baked goods - but extremely good!

Definitely one of the more hip cafes in Metro as long as you dont mind visiting Dartmouth...and you shouldn't.

Their almond croissants are my favourite and the chocolate close behind. They are very different from the ones I love in Quebec City, much heavier and way bigger, but they are to die for!! I don't find the staff very friendly for the most part, though.

Love this place, do drop in for a great coffe and croissant. It's a meal in itself. Friendly staff make for an enjoyable visit.

The best coffee in Halifax. I love the atmosphere and those chocolate croissants... maybe a little too much. The people who work here are really cool and friendly. I would come here every day if I could! But as it stands it's my once a week treat to myself and it's often the best part of my week.

My friend and I stopped in this establishment the other day ,looking forward to a hot drink after a lovely walk along Dartmouths' waterfront.. The filth we seen on walls and baseboards were just terrible and the photos they have on display were not of good taste and not very uplifting and cheerful..not to mention the dreary grey walls ....We... Urban chic café with the best croissants, try the almond for a change they are excellent! or if you arrive early enough the chocolate. I do have some guilt however while enjoying a croissant and coffee at lunch time it faces the community soup kitchen for the less fortunate.

If you are someone who is an early riser, definently walk to Two if By Sea for a choclate croissant, they are outstanding. The cappucino was too milky for me, more like a latte. Will try something different next time.

TIBS have the best coffee I have ever tasted. Their chocolate crossants are beyond delicious. Too much for one person, but two can enjoy one.

Ambiance is lively as it is always busy. Coffee drip coffee not very good too acidic for my taste.Cream curdles due to acidity. Specialty coffees are pretty good. Not a huge fan of their gigantic cookies or croissant very dense with butter but a lot of people go crazy over them.

They have the best croissants by far, and have a special one each week. They also have amazing cinnamon rolls. Their cookies are gigantic. Don't drink coffee so not much help there!
