Go early for the Croissant of the Week

The croissant special is worth going early for. Croissants are large (we split one) and paired with a coffee it is a great way to start a morning.

I have been going to TIBS since it opens and it never, ever fails to deliver on the best coffee experience I've had. The worst part is deciding which croissant to have - the chocolate, almond or surprise. Or will it be a cookie or a muffin or a scone today. Fantastic atmosphere and well worth the trip. Kid and... Great coffee and the most amazing buttery croissants I have ever tasted! My friends and I use it as a weekend treat after a bad week.

Based on the recommendation of our walking tour guide and a waitress, we took the ferry over to Dartmouth and walked - uphill of course - to this small cafe. Their croissants are enormous and delicious - neither my husband nor I ate the whole thing there. I asked for bags and we took at least half of each back... More

A small coffee and pastry shop. Get just a cup of brewed coffee or sit at a table, inside or out and enjoy a Latte and Treat :)

Their almond croissants are my favourite and the chocolate close behind. They are very different from the ones I love in Quebec City, much heavier and way bigger, but they are to die for!! I don't find the staff very friendly for the most part, though.
