It has been over a year since I ate here last. This time seven of us went for lunch. We ordered a hot turkey, curried chicken, scallops and chips, chicken Alfredo, two 8oz T-bones and fish and chips. The service was fast and efficient. The hot turkey and the chicken Alfredo were good but the curried chicken, the scallops and... More

My buddy and I were in Sydney and decided to go to the Bonnie. For pub food the choice and price is excellent. The waitress was very friendly and obliging. The food was hot and delicious. If you want a bang for your buck this is the place to go.Also if you want abeer that is also available for a... More

Although we ordered our meals to go, we ate it right away, while it was still hot. We enjoyed every last bite. My lady friends' grandson enjoyed his burger, fries & pop, both she & I enjoyed our chicken strips, fries, & soft drinks. Our orders were ready for us when we got there, seeing as how she called ahead.... More

I had heard good things about the Bonnie Prince so I decided to try it. I was very impressed with the food and value. The serving were tasty and large and reasonably priced. The only disappointment was the service. It was mediocre at best. The waitresses were not friendly (odd for Cape Breton) or helpful. In addition the restaurant was... More

Visiting with dear friends on final night in Canada before journey home to UK. The T Bone steak was extremely tasty when I finally made up my mind from the huge menu. Veggies a bit lacking but that is something I got used to in Canada. Eating out is a family thing rather than gourmet experience but the service was... More

Everything was horrible, the service, the food. I was so excited to find a place that had clam strips on the menu. I ended up with frozen clam strips that were beyond horrible and what tasted like boxed mashed potatoes! My husband got a turkey club...now there's not much you can do to mess that up...he said it was the... More

Great food, fast, friendly service - reasonably priced. What more can you ask for? Hadn't been to the Bonnie Prince in years but I'm glad I made it in this time.

Went there today with family and had a caesar salad. My salad was good. It was a good salad. I've been here many times before and have never had a terrible experience. There are times where service is a bit off but overall I would recommend. Try their waffle fries or a nice salad.

We liked the relaxed atmosphere. The service was a little slow but the food was good and plentiful at a fair price.

We heard great reviews on this place so we thought we would give it a try. We waited over an hour for our food. Not once did we get a sorry for the wait from our server. When the food finally came out the burger was over cooked, the fish over cooked, the fries underdone and I got the turkey... More
