If you're looking for food that is a different from your usual Canadian/pub/burger joint food then this is the place. I have a wide palate and found some of its offerings exotic. Bit more difficult to finding food for my 9yr old but settled on pasta alfredo; the sauce was brownish instead of white because of the mushroom....a bit unexpected.... More

Flavor consistently makes some of the best soups and sandwiches on the island. Service is friendly and prices are fair. Call ahead if you are part of a larger group as the interior is not huge.

I have ate at the 2 locations- downtown and flavor 19 10-15 times. I have had good meals most of the times at Flavor 19 and Flavor however Flavor on the water was highly disappointing. We waited 40 mins for meal that was served cold, when I brought it too the waitresses attention she was rude and told us perhaps... More

They served me the most delicious breakfast I ever had, seriously, I dare you to find someone who likes bacon and eggs more than I. Granted the meal was fairly expensive, it was truly worth every penny. Good service, welcoming atmosphere, nice patio, on a nice street, good view of the harbor... wait, who cares about all that stuff... it... More

Stopped on our way back to Baddeck after spending the day at the Fortress of Louisbourg. Tip from Fodor's travel book -such a great meal! Very friendly wait staff. They were totally fine with making one of their grilled chicken wraps simple for my 4 year old son (they held the mango salsa & Thai chilli sauce), which in turn... More

I recommand this restaurant for all types of gatherings: friends, family, and even a solo diner. I went by myself, asked for a patio table that was reserved for a little later and they made it work for me! It was nice to breathe in the fresh sea air while having diner. Ask for a patio table if available. service... More

This was by far the best meal I had during a two-week trip in Eastern Canada. While the menu is a little limited, I still felt like many of the options were highly tempting and I was not disappointed!

We usually visit flavor when we come home for a couple of weeks. They have gluten free options, paleo friendly food and delicious normal person cuisine. If you are looking for a great sandwich - Flavor downtown is the place to go. All day breakfast is amazing also. They even make items for you that aren't on the menu. They've... More

We went to the location close to downtown Sydney based on a quick search and reviews. Although I was sad the menu is a bit more limited there than at the other location it was an easy and tasty meal. We were looking for a quick bite before the north Sydney ferry to Newfoundland and it didn't* completely* disappoint. The... More

Food is good, but menu is limited and very pricey, also the restaurant is very small but cozy. Enjoyed it but not worth the money.
