Eat out on the patio in summer. Fast food (pub food). Food is tasty, reasonably priced, and the beer is cold. The atmosphere is not that great. Would not recommend for small children. Gambling machines on site. University crowd mainly during the school year.

If you go to this place for a meal, make sure your wallet is full and your stomach is full as well. There are only a very few choices on the menu and if you are hungry when you go there you will need to go elsewhere to get something to eat after leaving. It does have a nice atmosphere... More

The Smokehouse Burger at this pub is the best I've had anywhere, ever. It's a mix of top quality local beef and smoked brisket, char broiled and cooked to perfection, not burned to a crisp. The chef came out to see how we enjoyed it...how often does that happen In a pub. We had been fly fishing and were welcomed... More

This is a pub. It has no atmosphere, the food is mediocre. However, last week I sat outside on their newly renovated patio and was amazed how it has been transformed. It was lovely. Also I ordered nachos because it may not be fancy but it is the best dish they make! you can't go wrong with nachos. The patio... More

On a holiday Monday, we were unprepared for every pub and restaurant we wanted to try in Antigoish was closed. Good thing pipers was still open! Not too sure what to expect as we walked in. It looked like a regular student pub. We were well greeted at the bar. Our server was very friendly with a great sense of... More

This is friendly little pub, with an interesting menu. They have lunch specials almost every day, and they make a pan fried haddock that is second to none. It's frequented by locals who are Doctors, Nurses, Fishermen and Lawyers. The prices reflect that it's a University town, where you can still buy a 14 ounce beer for under $4. They... More

This pub had a great atmosphere - full of students. The menu is "typical pub" and delicious. It's a popular place in the evening so if you go late, there are line ups. Go before 10pm to avoid the line ups
