My husband And I occasionally go for the 2for1 steaks on Thurs nights... I never got a bad one yet! We've gotten the burgers as well, and they were good.

Food was surprisingly good. Well cooked fries, which is always a joy to find. Burgers, wings and seafood platters were great. I would definitely go back! A little pricey, but nothing new for Antigonish, which is a ridiculously expensive place to eat in restaurants.

Great service, great burgers, great prices, friendly, casual. Worth the detour, I will keep coming back! That is all.

Went with a large group of family and it could accommodate us and the staff were very friendly, especially the bar staff - Marilyn!

The bar decor needs an update, it seems tired. The food was average, all deep fried and nothing special. Great location, close to the University and downtown. Price point was a high for the quality of the food.

Quick, friendly, casual, tasty, inexpensive, university crowd...oh and the best burger I've had, ever.

I lived and worked around this area and Pipers did what it set out to do... be a party spot for the university goers, and supply decent food too. I found the way they served drinks too regulated and robotic...I don't think the bar folk have any leeway as even the spirits (in the optics) are electronically scanned and measured!

Just had the Two for one steak, that's offer ever Thursday. Steak was 12.99 so there is value in eating here on Thursdays. Steak was okay. It's not the Keg. But your not paying 12.99 at the Keg. The cold slaw was Un eatable and the stake was okay for the price. I would eat here again.

Piper's is Piper's. Nothing fancy. Go outside on the veranda. Go for lunch. The nachos are your best bet though the pizza is okay. Today we had club sandwiches which were pretty good. The veranda is decorated nicely and lovely. The waitstaff is super friendly. The food is mediocre at best. But still....it is a nice time sitting out under... More

Eat out on the patio in summer. Fast food (pub food). Food is tasty, reasonably priced, and the beer is cold. The atmosphere is not that great. Would not recommend for small children. Gambling machines on site. University crowd mainly during the school year.
