Right across the street from our B&B, it was recommended - we were skeptical at first since it looked "touristy" but glad we went. We enjoyed the meal and the selection from the bar and the staff was extremely helpful. Enjoy this place for good food and feel at home!

Main Street Cafe is a top-notch spot for lunch or dinner. Good variety on the menu with interesting daily specials as well. Main Street Cafe has become a regular haunt for us as it is a lovely space in which to enjoy a lunch date or an evening meal and for their consistent understanding of and respect for the needs... We often eat at the Main Street Café and love their food, so the Celtic Room was a natural choice when selecting a location for our son's wedding rehearsal party. We could not have been more satisfied with the exceptional service starting with the event planning with Larry McLean, Manager, who was a great help with the menu. As it... More

The Mainstreet Cafe has an excellent lunch menu. It is reasonably priced and the food quality and quantity is great. A little pricy for dinner especially for families on a budget.

Stopped for dinner recently on a Friday night. Restaurant was very busy but the service was good and we were seated right away. We ordered Chicken Parmigiana and Seafood Primavera and both were healthy portions, hot and tasty. Two happy hour glasses of red wine, 2 dinners, 2 coffees and a shared dessert came to $65.95 incl. tax. Have had... More

I stopped in for lunch with a friend and we each ordered the Mestique Burger, with fries. The burger bun had mold & there was a hair on the burger, so I brought the plate over to the waitress. Who then argued with me, about the bun & hair. Said that I was crazy & seeing things. She took the... More

Always love going to The Maritime Inn...the food is great and the service is always friendly and professional...it's in the heart of downtown Antigonish and has lots of off street parking...when they have live entertainment it's usually great as well!

Very good service, server was attentive, Knew when to leave. Great food. Stuffed chicken breast for my wife { who worked in the restaurant industry for many years.} said best ever, anywhere. Pan fried haddock for myself, cooked perfectly, covered with bread crumbs. I was very pleased that it wasn't over cooked which is common. The presentation was worthy of a photograph.... More

Ordered the Portabella mushroom chicken and it came without any portabella mushrooms. Pointed this out and was given an apology but no effort was made to rectify the mistake and when the bill came we were charged full price. Sorry but we won't be back!
